Just keep being you. You seem like you have thick skin which is important in life, and certainly in the field you want to be in professionally.I’m always open to criticism and feedback that’s part of doing this. At the same time, there’s a difference between constructive criticism and just you know being completely just rude. Not every article piece is going to land for everyone, but it is what it is.
Again, like I said above, I try to do articles that the majority of Miami Hurricanes websites, or just websites in general don’t do, things other sites don’t really cover. I try to make it a more fun and readable site.
My job here isn’t to be super formal, who really wants to read just plain, formal stuff? I mean, yes I know some people might just want that. I try to make it a little more fun, maybe a shorter article, with maybe just four or five lines, to break up the longer pieces you’re already getting from people like D, Pete, and Sebastian.
A lot of these articles I put out are shorter, more concise pieces, so I can get maybe seven, eight, or nine out a day while still giving Hurricanes fans the infowitout going too deep into the article. I know that might sound a little weird, I guess, but writing articles are actually my favorite part of the day. I look forward to doing these.
I hope, and I think(dont know), you have adults around you that keep you in a positive state of mind. No offense but kids your age dont react the same to normal criticism as say someone even 22 years old. Whether or not you know it, you need to be protected
Thats my point. IMO you need to only be receiving negative or constructive criticism that is warranted from people you trust and know.
You have a great mindset and obvious passion so keep being great and hopefully you'll have great people around you to guide you.
