perry legit hasn't been lights out outside of FIU. i know you love him and even though i think he's the best option right now (JW not included), part of this mess is bc of his off field stupidity and his middling on field play. he hasnt protected the ball (Fumbles, picks) and hasnt exactly been stellar against P5 teams. hes got all the talent to be great though so i hope it comes together this week esp after the 2 weeks hes had

It’s a joke man lol I remember saying he wasn’t that good during FSU .... “but but he threw the game winning td” like another poster said we lose a lot of those close games if qb play doesn’t improve and now you’re seeing it. I’m honestly more nervous than excited for Boston college but I hope I’m proven wrong in the first few minutes of the game

How do you even know there is a divide?

Are you using that quote from Malweak to determine their is a minumm divide at best?

You don't think all teammates have the backs of both QB's?

he was as good as perry was this year but did it on the road. he led two length of field drives for TDs in the fourth in last years game after the D blew leads. both QBs sucked in the first half of each of those games, but perry had the two short fields. perry can make the throws rosier can't, which we all see, but hes gotta get his **** together asap

Yea but most top tier QBs don’t leave until the rs Jr year. If he is as good as we hope, we can squeeze 3 full seasons out of him, instead of the 2 and a half if he started rotating in this year to burn his shirt.
 
Don't you know? Everyone on here is a Football Guru. First they thought we had a bunch of first rounders on The D line last yr, then Perry is the answer and now it's Williams.
I'm not knocking Williams, I've read some good things on him and some of the old players that have watched practice have commented that he could be Special

With the new Redshirt rule, players can play in 4 games and still be redshirted

Personally, I'm not nervous about BC. I'm at the point where I doubt we even win that game.

Your comment is stupid. I'm not a fan of Malik as my QB but he is the only that can be trusted at this point. It's not his fault that he fell into this position, he's just seizing the opportunity. His lack of basic QBing abilities has been beaten to death, but what his he supposed to do? I just you expect him to say, "Nah coach, I'll just stand here on the sidelines. I'm good". You people need to realize these are student-athletes and how would you feel if it was your son or relative? He's not a good QB. Stop overanalyzing everything he does and says.

No, I been saying since the Spring Game that Williams is the guy.

When a kid that's been on campus a couple weeks outperforms by a large margin a kid that's been around over a year....it's pretty obvious whom the natural QB is. Some have 'it' and some just don't.

Agreed. Like I said previously if I was Perry I would transfer out. What makes you think you could beat out Williams after he has a full offseason when you cant even beat out Malik? Richt just hasn't been comfortable with Perry and I think that's been evident by giving him such a short leash and completely dumbing down the play calling even more than with Rosier (which I didn't even believe was possible but here we are...). Get Williams reps and ready for next year. Yes I want to win ACC coastal this season but lets face it... experience for Williams even if that means losing one more down the stretch is much more important for next year than winning coastal and getting smashed by Clemson again

A few of us called it back then. It was clear as day. The comment you replied to is simply projection by those who literally do what they're accusing you of doing & are just now thinking of hopping on the Jarren train - not because of how good they think he is but because of what the other QBs have done. They have a hard time grasping the concept of talent evaluation & don't account for the fact that there are a few posters on here that actually know what they're talking about.

I think Rosier should STOP being so transparent with the media with his opinions. After the UVA game, Rosier was quick to point out that he didn't get any #1 snaps in practice as though it was an excuse for his lackluster performance. He later stated that the offense was so bad in practice that they had to do up-downs (Perry as #1). Fast forward to this week and he says the offense is looking good (now that he's #1). It's like he's trying to score points with the fans and media. However, what he's really doing is bringing division to the team. He further stated certain players that said, "we got your back." All unnecessary.

At the end of the day, Rosier will be judged for what he does on the field. He should just focus on that and leave the politics to those on the November 6th ballot.

I agree, I was watching that and just thinking to myself "****, Richt has lost this team!" Your QB should not be out there saying the stuff he was saying. It was no ta god look at all. You look at this whole QB battle and it has been completely mishandled. Perry should have been the relief guy for two or three weeks. You know, like the #1 and 2 teams in the nation did it. You have to season them a bit before you hand the keys over. And that falls on the HC. Poor roster management. We are gonna get smoked by BC. Cause that place is gonna be crazy and they will be playing like its their NC. We are going up there with a broken locker room. It may not end well......

You can't make a judgment from a small sample size of the Spring game. The coaches and players see these guys every day. I would expect if Jarren was "killing it", then he'd be higher on the depth chart. He's still 4th even after Weldon's suspension. So, IDK how you jump from #4 to #1. Especially, this season. Maybe next year. However, it's clear to me that Richt thinks N'kosi is going to be the next man up. Otherwise, he'd wouldn't play Perry this season and let the young boys fight it out next year for that #1 spot. That may still happen if Perry doesn't seize the opportunities he's been given.

I agree with your comments except for the game prediction. I hope your wrong with that. I hope Perry comes in after not having the pressure on him to start and "lights it up!!!!" It will be interesting to see when Richt plays Perry if at all. That will be telling of how much trust he has with Perry.

I tend to think Richt will go to Perry early because our offense tends to come out slow and factoring in how much their team will be fired up at the start of the game.
