Malik Bryant Film Review: Enjoy the locker Billy (Commits to Canes!)

do you think a T-Good style trajectory is a realistic comparison for Bobby? Pure athlete, great frame, maybe a few years before he hits his stride...
Definitely a few years before he hits his stride. Normally I'd say 100% redshirt this year and soak up coaching. But we're so thin at lber and on special teams that he'll probably not red shirt. His upside is insane. Far higher cieling than travares as Bobby is a freak athlete where travares was a student and knew his angles. With the coaching Bobby is gonna get between Charlie and Steele I can't wait to see him by junior year. We have a few kids were gonna have to fight to hold onto. Mario is ready for war. I just hope bobby doesn't get caught up as collateral to others nonsense.

It's been so long since we have had a LB room that looked like that. It is imperative that we keep TJ Capers home. You know that Mario and Mirabal have circled his name because he is an elite Mike linebacker prospect in addition to the Columbus connection. We will have coach Strong heavily involved and I would imagine that ex Miami LB greats will coincidentally be down in Coral Gables whenever Capers visits lol. This feels amazing and we have earned the right to enjoy this after all the terrible staffs we have had to suffer through.

"The 0/5 meltdown crew"? "How are they taking this?" WTF does that even mean? I would think that the group you are referencing are pretty excited about it just like any Miami fan would be.

So there were a number of fans who were freaking out about the commitments of 5 players last week. So what? There was a lot of hype going around about possibly getting all 5 then things turned out a bit differently but in the end we are still in great position with Bonsu and Bryant is already onboard.

So I suppose the inference here is that anyone who freaked out last week isn't a true fan and secretly hopes that Mario fails. This is just pure idiocy. They freaked out because they are Miami fans who give a **** about the program and have been conditioned to accept mediocrity. Stop trying to create boogymen who do not exist.
Anyone who freaked out because Miami didn't go 5/5 last week should quit paying attention to recruiting.

After Mario saved the 2022 class pretty much by himself.

After Mario and his staff got us into the top ten classes so far for 2023. Including beating out Alabama, Georgia and other big name programs for elite talents.

After Mario stuffed Billy Napier into a locker over and over.

If someone was melting down about about losing two guys to Georgia and Alabama respectively, and turning away a third lineman prospect we weren't interested in after seeing what Mario has done so far. They're just looking for reasons to complain.

And yeah, there have been quite a few around here the last two weeks. Although they seem to be in a better mood now.

Wait...

Did Miami just snag 2 Linebackers with Bama offers? 🤔

What universe am I living in?

The thing that stands out the most to me, Robby says Bobby is only a bit slower than him. Even if he's end up in the 4.5/6 range, at that size, with the type of coaching he'll recieve, he should be a PLAYERR!!!

Popo probably ends up at MLB. Between Bobby and Mailk, I think both could play either Will or Sam. They are both great athletes.

Does anyone who what position Bobby use to play?

couldn't be easier or clearer to understand.

Can't teach his type of speed and twitch... too many of our current 'backers lack that

I would add Thomas Davis to the list. I’m not about his lateral agility….but he was running 10.8 in high school if I remember correctly. Bobby is also sub 11. That’s impressive for guys with their frames.
That's another thing that has been addressed by Mario and staff and that is speed at the LB position. He has done the Lord's work with this roster in the 8 months he has been here. Absolutely incredible! Cristobal isn't just an elite recruiter, this man has a plan.

I would love to see his short shuttle times. But on his hs film he looked plenty fast chasing down kids going sideline to sideline. I'm definitely intrigued by what coach Strong can do with TD. My hope is he can become Caleb Johnson's main backup at Mike so we can keep Flagg off the field with the only exception being garbage time of a blowout W.

He has a verified 4.72 forty, 4.38 shuttle and 32 inch vert. He's also very coordinated. Better athlete than Shaq.
People are sleeping on his potential at LB. He keeps sliding a bit in the rankings because there isn't much film of him off the ball, but he is a rare breed. Micah Parsons didn't play much off the ball either...not saying he is Micah, but some guys have it.
