Can we talk for a minute about his recovery time after those fumbles. Yes, the ball took friendly bounces both times, but his awareness and instincts are off the charts.

He took some big hits and just kept going, almost like the fumble never happened. I’ve never seen anything like that.

True but we've left yards on the field due to fear of fumbling. I love Fletcher coming back after his & not falling to the ground anytime the defense made contact. Can't run scared

Shout out to that young man. Didn’t make the biggest impact on the stat sheet. Had 2 near fumbles, but had the awareness to get the ball back.

The blocking. On 4 of our biggest plays last night, this young man made key blocks. Mali is just a true football player. He’s a dog. We’re blessed to have him for 2 more years.

I was glad to see Dawson call a more balanced traditional game. I absolutely hated the first half of the A&M game where he went all in on Mali with every gimmick in the book. I think we did him a disservice by riding him so hard. A&M prepped specifically for that and we fell into the trap. I think OSU did too but we didn’t try so hard to force feed him.

One of my favorite things about him is how he plays without the ball in his hands. His effort is relentless. He has no business being that tough at his size.
