He took two intentional viscous hits from a Safety who knows how to put a hat on the football. Nothing to worry about. He had a 140 touches all year between WR, mali cat, and Punt returner. all football players human and will fumble; throw picks, and miss tackles (Sonny Styles found his streak snapped when Fletch ran through him like a laxative)

OSU did a great job all night of putting their hat on the ball. Credit to them in that regard.

Teams will be going for the strip. Fletcher too. That ball looked loose on some of his carries, outside the fumble.

They sure will but it’s a risk for them as well. Fletcher gained extra yards from some of those strip attempts and almost broke a couple. I want them to keep trying.

The blocking. On 4 of our biggest plays last night, this young man made key blocks. Mali is just a true football player. He’s a dog. We’re blessed to have him for 2 more years.

gameday talked about how hard he blocked all game and also mentioned Scott's INT was because JJ didnt want to block.

Turned 18 in September or October… but yes, still young but it’s all fixable. I’m sure the coaches will let him know from here out teams are going to be super intentional about stripping him because they think he’s going to give it up.

Yeah, their defense was hitting hard too. This wasn't an October game vs Stanford. He does need the weight room, but he's still been an impact player these 2 games, which is crazy

He catches those punts more naturally than anyone we've had back there since Hester. So smooth.

By far the biggest change to any unit from the ‘24 season. Maybe our DB group this year is in that category.

Complete 180 degree turn from our punt return unit last year. No fumbles, fields everything, will actually make an attempt to get any yards out of nothing.
