Malek Young - Welcome to the U

Nice 3 star pick up for Richt. Now et see him go get Cook and Becker. The big time recruits for defense backfield.
 
He has ability to play offense too. Played some RB and WR for Creek but I would prefer to keep him on defense. Sometimes you need to keep pure athletes on defense too.


He has the ability to impact the return game on special teams as well.

Great get, legitimate 4*. Disrespected by some sites for his size similar to how Cedrick Wright is.

We need a major upgrade there. Too risky to put Corn back returning given he's going to be our #1 corner.

An Army All-American is not a 'big time pickup'?

Tpres is more concerned with stars than with actual playing ability. Most posters on this board that have seen Malek play think he is the best out of the Creek guys.

Have you seen his offer list? That may be more indicative than the 3* on 247

Malek young is going to be a great one
 
We need db's so I imagine that's his spot, but **** he's special with the ball in his hands .

Been one of my favorite prospects for over a year

You need guys like that on defense though.

Getting the WR targets we have is vital. Keeping guys like Byrd and Young at their money positions at DB improves our secondary.

Corn was like that too. I like switching some guys like that to defense. Need guys like that in your secondary.

Before someone goes stepping over my toes. I've been a big fan of this kid when he wasn't even talking to us and was committed to UGA. Great pickup and gives a lot of versatility.

Most are unfortunately. I think legitimate offers are a far better gauge
