2021 Houston -- Tank Dell -- 90 catches for 1329 yards and 12 TDs
2022 Houston -- Tank Dell -- 109 catches for 1389 yards and 17 TDs
2023 Miami -- Xavier Restrepo -- 85 catches for 1092 yards and 6 TDs
2024 Miami -- Xavier Restrepo -- 69 catches for 1127 yards and 11 TDs

Dell did run about 67% of his routes from the slot, so he wasn't exclusively a slot WR, but that's where the ball goes in a Shannon Dawson offense.

It's a lot to put on the shoulders of a kid who wasn't a full-time WR in HS, is a true freshman, and reclassified.

Those are eye-popping stats...wonder if Malachi saw those before he committed and said "**** yeah"

Of course he would he’s more explosive, he catches that pass vs cal where X got caught from behind he takes that for 6. You give him all of X’s catches (identical catches) he would avg more YAC. What are we talking about here? Lol

nah I took it different fam... I think he was comparing Tank Dells Houston numbers to how Tank Dell would have performed at Miami those years I could be wrong but no I dont see Dell doing better than 90 catches 17 td and 1300 yards at miami last year. If it is as you mentioned then yes obviously a no brainer give him and X the same targets and Dell would have more YAC.
