Makes no sense to keep crying about the staff

Lots of morons here like to create drama. Fwiw Jon richt is a better coach or assistant than anyone on this forum....

Dude I kid you not the askclown Miami82 said it was debatable whether or not Richt (Mark) knew more about the college game than him.

I put him on ignore after that because it was obvious he was either insane or a troll. I need neither in my life.

lol...mental illness is more prevalent than we acknowledge.

I always love how these statements take in no way consideration of talent.

If you don't understand the impacts of teams full of talent you don't understand the college game. There is no draft and there is no parity.

Myers took over with a monster of a #2 class already on his roster. With that he went 9-3. We are no where near that.

None of those guys won without top 4 classes on their roster.

In 2017 we have a shot. If its a top 4 class we have no excuses. This years class isnt going to be top 10 which is already starting being the 8 ball.

Flashback!

This sounds almost . . . no . . exactly like what you said about Golden!

Did you just copy and paste?

OK first off quit being a FN liar. I never said shiat about Golden.

Stating out your post with FN lie is basically telling the world you have no point but your going to make an *** of your self regardless.

And to back that up it doesn't matter what FN coach your talking about.

No coach in modern college football history has ever won a title without a top 4 class on his roster.

Why is that so FN hard for you to comprehend? I guess your mad because Golden wasn't able to do something that not even Saban could do. My point is that makes you dumb as F! Which is a fact!

I will say it slower for you.....

NO....FN.... CLASS... IN ... MODERN... FOOTBALL... HISTORY... HAS ... EVER...EVER... EVER... EVER...

(did you catch that?) I said ever... If you dont know what that means then just go ahead and admit your a FN ******...

HAS... EVER... WON... WITHOUT... A... TOP...4... CLASS... ON... THEIR... ROSTER...MOST.. .HAVE... NEEDED...TWO...OF... THEM.

YOU CAN SIT HERE AND ACT LIKE THESE PUFFS OF SMOKE THAT COME OUT OF YOUR CLUELESS MINDS HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO CHANGE REALITY BUT THEY DON'T.

B/C if you give coaches two free years, it usually turns into 4 or 5. Fans have a right to complain if they feel the staff is not up to our standard.

Or should we praise people that we think suck? Perhaps we should nickname Richt, "the Don".....until of course you decide that he's no longer good and then we can continue bashing?

Who's giving anyone any free years? I'm not. I just don't see the point in incessantly crying over hires that were just made. Debate it a little and move on until there's reason to cry some more. What does ****ing and moaning incessantly now accomplish?

When it's time to ratchet up the tear ducts (i.e., when the coach actually does something on the field that fcks us) I'll be right there with you stomping my feet like a whiny bytch.

So if we lose games to lesser talented teams next year, or give up 400 passing yards, you will call for changes to be made? Or will you say "he needs a few years to implement his system and culture"?

Go look at Sabans first year at Bama.

Dear Lord, this is one of the best starts a staff has had at Miami. Jimmy was a nobody who took four seasons to have an eight win season before coming here. Butch was a first time head coach that hired a bunch of unproven guys. Nobody loved Dennis or Larry. So, we go out and hire the guy with the biggest resume of available coaches and you guys whine constantly. Hasn't even coached a game. Who were we getting that was better? The coach who can't get a job?

What the fck is your problem? Get a fcking grip. You ain't cross examining me.

We haven't lost yet. We haven't won yet. If Richt sucks I'll want him out. I don't give a fck about him or anyone he hired. I'm just not going to cry about the same fcking thing 99999 times before there are any actual results on the field.

You go ahead and keep crying for the next 8 months if you want. I don't care about that either. To each his own.

Amen!

For financial reasons if nothing else' Richt will be around for at least 4 years, so unless you've got a cart full of cash get used to it.

Seriously, other than winning the "first to call it" award, what is your problem?

Then it will be an ugly four years, just like Al Golden's were. Don't blame me. Blame the BOT and AD who thought picking up UGA's trash, and then letting him hire a bunch of nobodies was a good idea coming off of what we just experienced.

And that's your idea of a reasoned debate is it?

I like the concept Chise, but the board specializes in discussing/complaining/crying about the same thing over and over again. Some make a sport of it.

There are some very good, long tenured coaches on staff (Richt, Searles, Kuligowski, Diaz). There are also some young, energetic, up and comers on staff (Dugans, Brown) . There are also some green lotto tickets on staff (Rumph, the safeties coach, Hartley). Its a decent mix, perhaps one lotto ticket too many, but other than that, I'm fine.

Aranda and Raymond would have made this an A++ staff. As is, I think its a solid B+ and one of the better staffs Miami has had in a long time. I think Dugans and Brown, specifically, will become name brand coaches at Miami, which will make the end result look much better.

I think Miami has some high end, veteran coaches where it matters, though. Playcaller (Richt), OL (Searles), DL (Kuligowski), DC (Diaz - who, I admit, has some lotto ticket tendencies, but is highly regarded).

Diaz paired with the two young DB coaches is the only real knock I have. Diaz's defense is a bit of smoke and mirrors and to truly be high end, needs his DBs to be great. We'll see.

It seems to me that we got one of the best HCs available, some solid assistants, and some assistants who are question marks at this point. And when I look at the list, most all seem like upgrades over what we had under AG...even the question marks.

This team won 8 games, and could have easily won a couple more, including the bowl game, with arguably the worst coaching staff in UM history. Even with Coley undecided, we aren't losing a ton of talent to graduation/NFL, so much of the raw material will still be there. Maybe I'm missing something, but I think we all should have every reason to be optimistic. As was stated before, simply the fact that the administration and BOT has proven that they are willing to spend real money on this staff is cause enough to be optimistic.

What good does it do to cry about it incessantly? It's over now. I can see debating it and hoping for certain guys to be hired and discussing the guys we hoped for BEFORE the actual hire is made.

But once those guys aren't hired, and Richt hires guys you don't like, why keep beating the dead horse? It's over now. The whining won't change anything. You've made your point, and you're going to look like the genius and the first to call it if everything goes to ****.

Richt Jr. is a coach on the staff. So are a few other green coaches. Does that mean they're going to suck or that we're going to suck? They might. We might. But what does incessantly whining about it now do other than make you annoy the fck out of most of these guys?

Richt knows what he wants. At his firing press conference, he openly regretted delegating too much of the actual offensive coaching to underlings. With this young and hopefully eager staff, he can be the big boss and clear leader with everyone pulling in the same direction. And they can be the energetic recruiters every great team needs to beat the bushes and be tireless and relate to young people.

He knows why he got fired too. This is the staff he put together in response to getting fired from a job he loved. He didn't hire these guys on a whim. He hired them for a specific reason. Will it work? We shall see. But it's over.

I miss read your comments and dissed it. My mistake for just given it a quick scan. You are right on and I deserved the down thumbs. Accept my Mia culpa . I guess the the green and orange fog still is affecting me.

Here's the bottom-line:

The Canes haven't even taken a single **** snap under Richt's tenure yet. He picked his staff - and absolutely nothing we say or do will have any effect on it.

So what's the point of the incessant bit*hing and moaning? What, exactly, is the end-goal?

To get the ball rolling more quickly this time so we don't have to waste 5 good years on more disappointng Canes football. This staff, with this HC, will not get us where we want. I want to move on quickly this time.

Gave the dude a chance. Didn't like the hire all that much. But gave him a chance to build a "monster staff". Instead he gave us Coach Kool, a few jags, and a bunch of grad assistants---and a disastrous DC who is the D'Onofrio of the long star state.

So you want to get the "ball rolling" on the FireMarkRicht campaign?
Seriously?

Doesn't matter to him. He already told us he now hates the hire because of Richt's staff choices and that he's complaining so vociferously before spring ball even starts because he thinks it will speed the process of getting Richt fired.

This dude doesn't even want to wait for spring ball. He wants to start flying banners before signing day.

When all is said and done, we hired a HC who couldn't get over the hump at UGA and couldn't win any big games. This same guy made a very dicey hire at DC. There's a pretty decent chance Richt will basically replicate what he did at UGA with maybe an additional win or two because of a weaker conference and awful division.

There's also a decent chance that Richt will get over the hump here like Roy Williams did at UNC with access to better talent 5 minutes from his doorstep.

We've also never seen what Diaz can do with access to this sort of talent. My suspicion is Diaz will flop, but there's nothing we can do about it now except to hope for the best and go hard if he does flop.

I'm sure none of the resident geniuses thought Brent Venables was a slam dunk at Clemson. I know I didn't. I'm sure they'll claim now that they knew he was awesome after checking their post history to make sure they never commented on him while he was floundering at OU or Clemson.

OU's defense was getting gored with Venables there, and he struggled early at Clemson too. Now, he's got rabid dogs everywhere and a HC that lets everyone hunt, and he's killing it.

I have no idea if Diaz will do the same. I tend to think he won't. But until it happens all a sane fan can do is hope for the best because it'll be absolute misery banging a "fire the world" drum before spring ball even starts.

You continue to make no sense.

+1 for being consistent.

best post since the hirings right here

OP makes some interesting points in terms of supporting the team and having an opinion on the staff. I don't understand the mindset of complaining before the fact since I have no need to be contrarian or to be able to boast that 'I was right' if things don't turn out well. It strikes me as mental and emotional weakness. When others behave that way, I find it both amusing and annoying.

As a fan, I have gotten to the point in life where I love my alma mater and root for their success, but wins and losses neither make nor ruin my day. I would like to see this staff be successful. I agree with a prior post that the experienced coaches are on the most important units, HC, OL and DL. It's possible that Richt can get over the hump at Miami, if a .745 winning percentage can be considered a hump, or he may simply be what we thought he was, a non-championship winning coach. Diaz may have learned new things and will field a stellar unit or his hyper aggressive system combined with freelancing athletes may result in a grease fire. Because there are so many variable, I cannot comprehend how anyone can know for a certainty that this will be either a great or horrible staff.

I cannot wait to see spring practice. I think it will be the first indication of where this may be heading.

BOT is spending money. If this doesn't work, they'll spend on the next guy.

There's no good reason to not sit back and let it play out on the field at this point.

Why do you think this guy is a fan?

He is an obvious troll. Tell him to F off one last time and ignore his lame ask.

He is literally the most miserable F on planet earth.
