Make Case: Why Keep Golden?

but...but...the recruits!

We could pull the top recruit in the nation for every position for the next two recruiting classes and Al Golden would find a way to go 7-5.

With him, attendance will continue to drop to Temple levels and eventually the ACC will become so embarrassed that they will threaten to throw us out. Once threatened by the loss of that conference $$$$, the administration will be forced to hire a real coach and actually try to win frigging football games. If we fire him now, before he has finished his destruction, they will just hire another frigging loser. That is about the only thing I can think of. Wait, if we keep him until Donna is gone, she doesn't get to pick the next loser.

Only reason is resource limitations. We're tied to him for another couple years.

I'm of 2 minds about the situation, frankly. I've seen some sparks (the games leading up to FSU and the first half of FSU) that tell me that he could still turn it around. I've also been disappointed to the point that said turn around is far from a sure thing.

Regardless, I do think that his "process" is establishing a solid foundation for the future but a different coach may be the reaper of those seeds.

Why keep Golden??? Because it complements cutting your wrists, and ****ting your pants quite well.

We hire a legitimate coach. We win games and bring in more revenue. Take the loss now and cash in later. Golden not gonna get it done, we will be in a further hole.

Sadly, don't think anyone wants to coach at The U. No one was beating down the door when Coach Golden was hired. Coaches view this job too stressful with no money. Just theorizing here, I have not inside info.
Bull****. Mullen interviewed for the job. There isn't a shortage of coaches that are willing to take the job. The admins just need to get their heads out their *** and pick a winner.

Then why spread lies?

The last two coaches hires were HEAVILY influenced by APR results. When your search begins by eliminating every coach who puts football first, u end up with **** choices.

Please ban people like this who spread fear and pity regarding Miami as if we are poor. This school could afford any coach it wants if it cared to.

The admin is at a crossroads you have a guy in golden that got the program off its deathbed and finally stockpiled talent like we havent seen in years, but isnt winning yet

He can't and won't win, which makes it about as tough a decision as what to eat for breakfast.

I'll give you one: Shalala is still here.

She was involved in hiring the last 3 losers, there's no guarantee she'll stay out of this hire and **** it up again. This is the ONLY reason to keep him. However, I hate him so much I'd live with another bad hire that we have to get rid in a few years just to not have him coach us anymore.

3 Worst Coaches in College Football:

Will Muschamp
Brady Hoke
Al Golden

Muschamp canned. Hoke will be canned in 2 weeks. No way that Miami is the only school that stays the course?!? Right?! Blake James cannot be that incompetent.

Folden is the worst. The other two took their team to BCS Bowls......Hoke won.

Golden is the worse of the 3 by a wide margin

Ouch, truly hurtful. I suggest you get a life and clue.

He's been good economically for the several Italian restaurants on Miracle Mile.
