I dont care that Barkate went for over 1k at Duke last year. I worry that he will be the security blanket for Mensah. I think Vaughn, Moore and Jacobs are all better and more dynamic. Ideally, my WR starters are Mali, Vaughn, Moore as starters and Jacobs in 4 wide sets. I will never hope for an injury to any player, especially a Cane, but I think it would be better for the team if Barkate gets real comfy on the bench.

I dont agree with post overall but I do wonder why they bought in three portal guys when they like the '25 class and felt they hit on all those guys and bought in 4 other wr. If bringing in Barkate, consolidate the other two NIL and get one other guy..

I don’t think that was the plan. I think the plan was going to be bring in Jacobs and Vaughn with Toney and the rest of the guys we have. Then the Mensah situation came and they saw it could be a 2 for 1 deal so they took barkate too. They definitely going to have to manage that room because it’s going to be some guys mad about not playing

You bring in veterans who have produced and are dynamic to raise the competitive bar, or else you are relying on a bunch of unknown and inexperienced commodities.

Talent will rise to the top and the team will be better for it.

With all due respect, and I mean this respectfully, you're retarded.

Malachi is an Unknown? Moore is an unknown? Beard doesnt really rotate guys anyways.. If you read my post, I am not opposed to bringng in vets, but 3 guys when we already have Malachi and dont usually rotate alot of guys doesnt seem right.. I can see this like the Corner room for spring, which is fine but there is no second portal for them to do like Karnley.. Gonna be stuck like that Mich state kid..

Tomorrow the battle begins..

Mali is proven, obviously.

Moore isn't exactly a proven commodity. Sure, he flashed but he didn't exactly cement himself as a sure fire starter. He has potential but he can easily flop and have a sophomore slump. You hedge that concern with the vets

Barkate - as someone pointed out - didn't seem like the original plan, but you don't turn that production and experience away.

Mali and the three transfers have produced, and while the young guys in the room are exciting and full of potential walking into 2026 after a natty run and spurting on offense due to inconsistent WR play (gambling on the youth) would have set Mario's trajectory for the program back.

Is this satire?
