I was considering Bosch, but I there were issues with the placement of the drain on the model I was looking at.

If I end were starting from scratch, I would have gone with the Bosch, it's what my brother has. The interior design of my Kitchenaid was very similar to the Bosch I was looking at, with 3 levels.

Samsung is garbage. Had a washer that literally flooded my house. The fill sensor malfunctioned and overflowed. Never seen anything like it. Had a very “high end” Samsung tv that died literally 1 year and a day after I bought it. Would not fix it for me. Needed new mother board. Was like $2500 to fix.

I made an error replacing an old Bosch dishwasher 10 years ago for the only reason that it did not match my new Samsung refrigerator (what a mistake), with a Samsung dishwasher. The Bosch, you couldn’t tell it when was running, quiet af. The Samsung runs noisy like a Dodge Challenger Hellcat. With two repairs and monthly clean out cycles, it has serviced me adequately. The Samsung refrigerator died the month its warranty expired. I have an LG now (due to budgetary constraints), probably just as bad as Samsung, but it’s on year three and running fine. I’m planning to downsize in the next two years, I’m looking into Bosch and Miele, my last hurrah…
