It's almost like Mario is worried if he doesn't play him he would transfer but he's hurting the team now.

I think Lyle just needs more reps…There was no room for anyone tonight, none of the backs. Brown is straight up nasty in short yardage, I'll give him that.
 
He’s useless in our scheme. Brown plays well and fletcher has all the juice and we decide big backs are overrated in the second half for whatever reason. Team is run by idiots

Lyle shouldn't be getting carries over Brown right now. In the same breath, I'm not writing Lyle off, he's just missing something at the moment and hopefully he finds it. I've been impressed with Brown since the jump, pleasantly surprised that is.

You know what you will get with Brown, 4 yards while he falls towards. It's not special but it keeps you ahead of the chains. We have a lot of 2nd and 6/5 or 3rd and 2/3 when we give him the ball. We give it to Lyle twice and it can easily be 3rd and 10
 
The run game is ****..idk why ya fell in love wit that dog pile push run game.. that **** is not dependable..

Brown gets like 3 yards a run.. u can't build **** off that.. ya hype him up like he don't just fall near line of scrimmage

I never thought I would say this…But gun to my head Brown is the best RB we have right now. He literally may be the best back in the nation at not going down on 1st contact and getting 3-5 yrs…I wish he had more speed, but he is tremendous at moving the sticks, and his vision is excellent

BUT…I'm not sure Lyle is even "missing anything?? The plays weren't blocked tonight imo. For any of them. That's a very good run defense and they whooped us up front. plain and simple

Yep this. Lyle isn’t built for this scheme. Put him in ole miss and this dude would be putting up numbers.

Not here….

Think Henry Parrish. He’s a finesse speed back that needs open lanes. Not a dude you shove into a scrum every play.
