What a pathetic matchup. I cannot tell you how ****ed I'd be if we didn't self impose this year, beat FSU, and then got stuck with that opponent. The right call by the administration looks even better today.

They have literally played no one this year and that will include their BCS game. Incredible.
 
I would be ****ed if I was an FSU fan or if Miami was given that matchup in the Orange Bowl had we made it. I can LOL about it, but them ****** in the NCAA gotta change, mane.
 
It's like throwing good money after bad. It's an absolute waste given the amount of money that trip is going to cost FSU. I just cannot imagine if we were there this year against NIU and next year the NCAA hit us with 2 year bowl ban, keeping us from a real bowl matchup.

i dont understand the hate...One FSU will prob lay an egg but good for NIU....My thoughts re: NCAA is that too many restrictions are placed on teams outside of the "BCS" confernces. If it is truly a national championship...let all teams/conference champs in...Fug all that shytt out they dont play no ne...if they suck then it should not be a prob. Teams are just scared to have done to them what Boise did OU or what Utah did to bama...shut up...line and and man up. I am a huskies fan come OB kik off.
