Didn't he tweet last week that UM couldn't go wrong with Lane or Mario
Lol. None of the other Miami coaches think this.He did say that he liked Mario and thought he could bring the U back. But in the next sentence he said that the other inner city coaches and himself "ran the diamond mine" and Mario would have to get straight with them before he'd send the 5* our way. I mean does this guy seriously have any idea how bad that sounds?
He sounded a bit salty that he texted Mario and hasn't heard back yet. Like Mario doesn't have anything else to do other than slurp on Luke.
Come on now. He didn’t say that. However, he is a bit full of himself. He isn’t the spokesperson for south Florida. In his mind every college coach needs to speak to him before recruiting south Florida. He mentioned race, but he wants his homeboys to get hired which isn’t a good idea imo. He even said he doesn’t talk to Willie Taggart anymore because they release his friends.
Believe it or not Mario does have a bad reputation amongst some local coaches and former players from his time at FIU. Let’s just say he wasn’t fired because of on the field stuff.
He absolutely did. He went so far as to say that "The Cubans were trying to take over football in Dade". It was bad.
True the actual word "racist" wasn't used. I just felt it was heavily implied. I mean when he stated that "The Cubans were trying to take over football", that was just gross. I really hope he doesn't have the stroke to influence these kids the way he thinks he does.I agree all of it was bad but he didn’t call him a racist. He’s trying to get in good graces with Mario so he can visit Edison. I heard the statement about Cubans and I totally disagreed with him. However, he said local coaches were disappointed because Mario didn’t give the young black coaches opportunities to coach when he was at FIU (paraphrased). He wanted Mario to hire his buddies but he didn’t. I’m not really a fan of Luke but he didn’t call Mario a racist. I was listening too. Now he’s delusional and for some reason thinks he’s the spokesperson for south Florida. I also think he hides behind the guise of race to push his self serving agenda.

Buy him and Shalala a one way bus ticket ride to Oregon so they can hang out with Phil Knight. I’ll contribute. For the love of all things holy this guy has to be the most toxic person on the planet. Apparently according to him Mario is racist or something because at FIU he had some cubans on the staff and didn't just hire every Dade county black football coach. Says him and the other HS coaches in the area won't send their kids to the U unless Mario hires some local coaches. Man can this guy just go away.
Cool story. That didn’t stop him from plucking talent from down here.Believe it or not Mario does have a bad reputation amongst some local coaches and former players from his time at FIU. Let’s just say he wasn’t fired because of on the field stuff.
SIAP Romberg stating facts.
He’s still pushing the I’ll tell all if Ryan Collins doesn’t stsrtLuke does this every time we hire a new coach, he wants some sort of “control”
Regardless, the 5 people listening to his Twitter space will probably agree with him.
He will reach dozens of people by the time he is done! He’ll show us!
