the burst after the catch jumped off the screen ... i'm in on him, upshaw, and pringleSchott has been the guy I wanted to see more . Very fluid and athletic. Looks like a wr until you get up on him then you’re like “ yeah , he’s a te”. I’d like to see more of him. He’s the one that looks the part in pass game as a true receiving threat.
He already went from around 220-225 to 242 in the time he got on campusSchott’s the one who moves like a difference maker. Someone introduce him to @JHallCanes or anyone who can magically put on 25 pounds on Schott’s frame within the next 6 weeks.
I'd play him at LB immediately. If we cant carve out a role for him on offense, they need to move him to LB immediately. He'd actually have a chance to get to the league @ LB
Agreed, but that certainly is not Lofton from what I have seen the first 2 games of the year. Yet he is getting alot of snaps.....The TE who can inline block the best, will get the most playing time for the coming 3 week challenge. Mario will look to pound pound pound
I’d use Lofton more as a H-Back , rb , Fb and just move him around. Even motion him out to the slot occasionally but I’d like to see more of the younger te. Especially Schott.Agreed, but that certainly is not Lofton from what I have seen the first 2 games of the year. Yet he is getting alot of snaps.....
I think we need ALOT more Schott. We don't have anyone at that position that moves like him. At least give him snaps on passing downs where we aren't so dependent on his blocking (Will come with time). His size and speed alone is a mismatch vs a DB or LB.I’d use Lofton more as a H-Back , rb , Fb and just move him around. Schott needs to play a lot more, right away. I thought I was watching Brock BowersSchott has been the guy I wanted to see more . Very fluid and athletic. That lattimer was hitting the weights pretty hardI got him

Lofton doesn’t even look like a te and seems kinda stuff to me as a route runner . I like him as a football player but not an every down te. More Swiss Army knifeI think we need ALOT more Schott. Because Lofton transends the position/us mere mortals? It's wild I believe our two freshmen TEs are our two best receiving threats at the position
****. He doesn’t look 242 at all. If he moves like that at 242, start immediately getting him real snaps. He already went from around 220-225 to 242 in the time he got on campus
**** no. Signs of a trash offense. Dawson doesn't even have the playbook for 12 personnel sets. You couldn't name a good 12 personnel offense in college in the last 10 years.I see a lot of 12 personnel in our future
lol you are clueless.**** no. Signs of a trash offense. Dawson doesn't even have the playbook for 12 personnel sets. You couldn't name a good 12 personnel offense in college in the last 10 years.

There's no such thing as a "12 personnel offense"
We run 12 all the time and did last year too.

Upon Further Review: Miami vs. Notre Dame
Any mention of Canes’ football history inevitably includes a passage that mentions the Notre Dame-Miami rivalry of yesteryear. Catchy phrases that paint Notre Dame as the white hat and Miami as the black hat have lived on to this day. The brands of both schools are large, and the history is...www.canesinsight.com
Point to my post and show me where I said " There's no such thing as a 12 personnel offense"
Then, justifiably, place the Dunce cap on your head.
You serious Clark?**** no. Signs of a trash offense. Dawson doesn't even have the playbook for 12 personnel sets. You couldn't name a good 12 personnel offense in college in the last 10 years.
