Lucas Injury?

Might be time to move on from OJ at the end of the season, it's seems to be every year with him now. He's a very talented player but he just cannot stay healthy. I believe this is 3 injuries in 3 years.
No disrespect but people might light you up for this. I’m not taking sides but I do agree he’s made of glass. Right now he should not be thinking of the NFL because he’s going to be labeled as injury prone.

I’m curious anyone that’s done a rewatch did u catch the last time Lucas was seen on the field? I know a lot of the starters were out by the 4th but curious if he was out there end of the 3rd

You suffer that many injuries as a CB in the NFL and you are getting cut. You would need to be a high end elite CB1 for a team to deal with those injuries.

So much for OJ bulking up in the offseason. Hopefully he’s back for Clemson.

Jaelan Waters

Ryan Mack

Brody Jennings

Camdin Portis

That's very green, baby **** green in terms of depth but honestly probably better than last year.

That’s rough and no way those dudes are ready for ACC play or ND. More pressure on the front 4 to start getting pressure on QB’s to help out the secondary.

Are u saying that’s when he got hurt or when he was last seen? What quarter was this play in
Saying that’s the last time he was supposedly seen on the field. It was the punt and play that got overturned for Stanford touching the ball first. Someone else posted a clip of him turning to the sideline at the end of the play. Someone else on here says he was taking into the tent. I can’t confirm those parts or much. I wasn’t there. I know what the rumblings of his injury are, and yeah, I’m concerned.

Great…

i know we all roll our eyes at the injury stuff with this program but listening to Mario, that’s a very long term injury. My guess is coin flip at best if we see him at least through the next couple months. I’m not really sure what you can do to your shoulder via impact that’s a 4+ month injury but I’m operating under the assumption he’s out for the year and if we’re really lucky, he returns for the playoffs.

This is bad, bad, bad. He’s our best cover corner, full stop. If the pass rush is going to be a tick slower, the last thing you want is your best cover corner out.

It’s also now completely imperative everyone else in that room stays healthy, and we’re exactly one game into the season. Antione is already hurt. Lucas definitely had something going on, I guess we’ll see. Obviously we could play with Fraggle at corner on Thursday and win by 70. But Wake has some actual receivers. I’m not worried, obviously. We can score 50 on them if we need to. But this puts that room on thin ice once we get later in the year. Pitt can throw it. ND, obviously. The playoffs.

Honestly, i had OJ in my Top 10 guys we couldn’t afford to lose for the year. And that might be too low if Antoine is also out long-term.

And before anyone calls me a *****, I’m not worried about the ACC. OJ doesn’t even come close to moving the needle as far as ACC odds. But I’m here to win 3 games in the playoffs. He absolutely impacts that. If you disagree, go put the Indiana game on again.
