LSU WAS looking good

Soooo everyone was saying how much we sucked when our game was 28-21 in the 3rd quarter. 4 hours later we're good again.

Not me. I actually knew Toledo could do things on O...anybody surprised that happened especially when we weren’t that efficient on O hasen’t followed this team since last year.

Between 5-8, imo. Take whatever the normal jump would be and add 3 to it because the beat another SEC team. And this won't even count as a loss for Auburn.

In his defense, all his WR’s not named Jamar Chase belong in G5 and are only good for getting PI calls.

They couldn’t even separate from our freshmen.

They could easily lose to MSU and Texas A&M. Their offense will be a huge liability all year. They do have a nice defense though

I tried to get excited but really can’t. I would care about this much more if we had looked good against them and lost a tough close battle , but really we just got blown out.

I’ll certainly take it to the extent it helps our perception, and maybe it should a little bit, but it Doesn’t mean our loss was a good loss, it just looks less bed now.

Imagine what we could do with an elite DC, even with Rosier. Keep the other team off the scoreboard and we don't have to depend on Rosier to complete passes.

Funny, I just said the exact same thing in another thread. Looking more closely at LSU and comparing them to us, yeah there is still a talent gap. But the biggest difference is the quality of the coaching staff. Coach O is far from a Nick Saban, but dude has Matt Canada and Dave Aranda running the day-to-day under him. And that's what we need.

Richt needs 1 or 2 more good recruiting classes, but more importantly he needs to improve his staff.

Sure it does. Burrows doesn't turn the ball over. Manages the game. That is enough with a championship caliber defense. Check back later in the season and see if the kid doesn't improve.
