LSU vs Miami

I don't know how well yall recruit Texas. Does a neutral game exposure in Dallas help with recruiting any?

I think that's part of the reason why LSU likes to do the neutral games in Dallas and Houston is exposure for recruiting. We normally recruit Houston well.

With the Texas games, recruiting is more of a priority for LSU than Miami- although LSU typical goes after the Houston area (or at least Les did). For, us its more about the money, exposure, big game experience - like LSU going to Wisconsin - LSU wasn't recruiting Wisconsin

Okay, here is football related discussion.

What is yalls opinion on the Neutral Site game in Dallas vs having a home and home in Death Valley and yalls stadium?
Would rather play home and home. Neutral site is cool but I think it’s more fun watching your team kick someone’s *** in their house. Plus I like going to away games.

I'd be much more for home and home. I'd probably be going to the game if it was in Miami or Louisiana.

Agreed, last time I was in DV was for the night game in ‘88 that was a monsoon, it was uhhh, interesting to say the least.

I was there too...drenched to my draws but didn’t mind.Canes could have scored 100 that night.

at least lsu is willing to actually do this, the gaytors finally had their first REAL true big out of conference game last year since like the 1700s and look how that went

you watch what we do to the gaytors the year after this coop

**** yea, i think every game should be a power 5 game that way you find out what you got. Bama has the easy way every year with their cupcake *** schedule.

Trash talking so the best part.td a lot of fun the ones who can dish it out but can't take it are the ones that make it bad.

I like both neutral site and home and home.get to experience new venues.see other parts of the country that I've never been to.

I like the idea of these season openers being played at state of the art nfl stadiums like Dallas and Atlanta. Not sure how Orlando got thrown in there. LSU vs Wiscky at Lambeau was amazing.

Also, it’s best to play the big out of conference games early so you can focus on conference play. I know you are SEC guy, but conference play is conference play. You are going against teams that know your playbook better than half your players.

I live in New Orleans and would much rather go to Arlington than BR. Been to dozens of LSU games - never got the hype. Can only drink in club levels. And leaving Tiger Stadium, especially after a SEC game is a nightmare. I’d much rather watch it at Cooter Browns

Boot have you been to a night game at tiger stadium when they played Bama, Auburn, Vtech, Florida type game? It gets so loud, roudy, and fun especially when the weather is gorgeous. Day games when its jungle hot is definitely miserable especially when playing lower tier teams.
