LSU vs Miami

It’s only because the guys replacing them have more ability and talent. Also there’s a lot more depth on defense then has been in a while.

1. They haven’t proven that
2. Again I ask, for LSU’s defense last year the back up was better than the starter at almost every position?

Again i will say, last year LSU's D line had injuries all season limiting depth, players that are starting this year had playing time constantly last year, the only one you will see that didnt play last year is Fulton

2 months better? fact still remains you can't fund actual classes or teachers, but the football team got what they need.

Jim Henderson, president of the University of Louisiana System, said the budget would default "on the promise of TOPS earned by tens of thousands of students" and hit a higher education budget that is "already ranked last in the nation in per-student funding."

We are going to smoke your team and you will disappear from this board by halftime. Your offense was pathetic last year and has shown zero signs of being improved... probably worse.

The LSU D will be gassed sooner rather than later after trying to keep up with all the favorable mismatches for Miami’s offense. Fat Ed has no answers.

LSU was ranked 54th in total offense last year and Miami was ranked 60th...GTFOH with that @DBC

On defense LSU was 12th and Miami was 38th.

Louisiana college education is beyond fuuuked. My 16-year old daughter tutors LSU students online in basic Algebra. I say “tutor” but I think she just does the **** for them. LSU was never a real college but since the cuts it’s a complete joke.

Fact is, this is all the result of Bobby “Boy Wonder” Jindal’s bad bets and budgeting on oil. Dude thought oil was going to hit $160 a barrel - it was $40 a barrel. Add to that the state congress gave all of the state taxpayers dollars to Hollywood producers.

100% TAF

"The Tiger Athletic Foundation is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting Louisiana State University and its athletics program. It is the primary source of private funding for LSU athletics and contributions to TAF benefit every athlete and every team at LSU. TAF has become a critical element in the success of LSU Athletics by providing private funding for scholarships, academic rewards, new athletic facilities and facility upgrades. In addition to contributions to the athletic scholarship fund, TAF will continue to provide funding for academic programs and facilities that benefit all LSU students."

LSU was higher in “total defense”
However that’s a lazy stat because Miami’s defense covered more than 100 more plays than LSU. Most likely due to the fact that ACC offenses are faster pace and Miami struggled on third downs on offense.

Miami’s defense was top ten at yards per play.

On defense:
Total yards- Advantage LSU
Yards per play- Advantage Miami
Yards per carry- Advantage Miami
Yards per pass- Advantage Miami

And although LSU led Miami in “total offense” Miami averaged 29 pats per game while LSU averaged 27

If ours was pathetic than Miami was even worse lol. We averaged 411 yards/game to Miamis 403. Man both offenses must have sucked then

Miami’s defense was 8th in the nation at yards per play. LSU was 29th. Miami’s defense also returns 70% of their starters while LSU’s defense returns 57% (and 36% of the offense)
