And this is the thing with Kiffin; is he really an elite recruiter? Or does he depend on his offensive production, logo, and staff. He’s never appeared to me as some relentless recruiter that’s gonna grind to get a kid. He’s been better in the portal imo.

Different times. Recruiting has changed drastically, part of the reason Saban retired. A lot of the elite recruits are locked in or close to it. Not many flips or big time recruits committing late anymore.

horrible hire he does not recruit and the hire of Ed screams that. Kelly did the same ****, these are guys that cant build what LSU fans want. A sustainable super power and Lane cant do that imo, he will build a team that will make a run once then go back to being trash the next season. They not the reload type coaches

Cristobal aint get the memo. Yes Louisiana is different from alot of states if LSU wants them. But that's assuming all the kids are the same. All it takes is a kid determined to get away from the scenery and no amount of peer pressure will make him stay. Also that was before NIL. Some Benjamins might make them reconsider how much they like seafood boils, if LSU not upping the bag.

Exactly. Early signing day is the new signing day. Your class is pretty much set before the season starts.

The only caveat is Kiffin is in the singular state that feeds its best players to the in state school in the country. He will get the war daddy’s that Louisiana creates. But he won’t do much outside of that.
