LSU Players only meeting...

They certainly don't look strong offensively going into our game:

Both QBs futile in LSU's final preseason scrimmage

If the final preseason scrimmage was any indication, LSU fans could be in for another long year in the quarterback department.
Both Joe Burrow and Myles Brennan struggled mightily Saturday, combining to go 15-of-43 for 167 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. They're the only two scholarship pivots left on the roster following the recent departures of Justin McMillan and Lowell Narcisse.

Burrow came to the Tigers over the winter - bringing with him a great deal of fanfare - as a graduate transfer from Ohio State, where he served as a backup for the last two seasons.
Brennan was one of the top quarterback recruits in the 2016 class. The Tigers went to great lengths to keep him committed to the program after changing coaches partway through the 2016 campaign, but he's yet to live up to those expectations.
It's possible LSU could let its quarterback competition carry into the regular season. The Tigers kick off their slate with a blockbuster contest against Miami on Sept. 2.

Lol Can’t be bc I remember some on here saying Joe Burrow was better than Rosier and we should’ve tried to get him in the off season bc he’s going to be a problem against us at LSU??

LoL....No their not....
Cmon man, let's not act like they aren't stacked w more talent that anyone we face. Moffits needle game is also borderline illegal. Unless you're already pencilling into the ACCCG against Clemson, who is tougher on our schedule ?

LSU is a clown show, but they'd easily handle anyone on our schedule rn.

Ik ik... they lost to Troy. Well, they're we lost to a sorry *** Pitt.

To be clear, I expect us to dust them, but I also expected us to dust UVA, and GT, and UNC, and Wisconsin, and an awful FSU squad.

I'm not reading much into this. I hope our players don't either. It could be a meeting about all their "off the field" issues. Could be the players policing themselves in that regard. We'll see in 2 weeks.

you guys are talking yourselves into the notion that LSU is train wreck and we going to roll them. we might roll but make no mistake they have talented players and they are going to play hard. it could easily be a close game.

They can have all the meetings they want between now & kickoff...I hope the Canes take that OSU QB castoff of theirs & bend him in half.

That sorry Pitt team would've beat the Lips off of Troy.....That in itself tells ya all ya need to know..

This is them rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic as they see the UM iceberg coming...

Bottom line is very simple, Miami is a better team with a superior coach. If LSU wasn't in the SEC nobody would be so fearful of this game

Folks, its' OK to have high expectations for this UM squad.

LSU is a dumpster fire

Thank you!

Reality is, Coach O is not a head coach, I don't care what anybody says. Look at his eyes during the interview. That's the Golden look of confusion, fear and worry. Now look at Richt's demeanor this entire camp. I have not seen the man this relaxed and confident the entire time he's been here. And that's because he knows the squad is ready.

And there's a big difference between guys giving the team a pep talk versus guys locking the **** coaches out of the lockerroom to have a players only meeting.

Unless our guys come out and defecate all over themselves Gaytor style, we roll.

I never expected us to dust Wisconsin last year. They are always a very disciplined, stout team. Add to that the fact that we had no Walton, Herndon or Richards, and I was far from confident of a victory.

This year, we have both BC and VT on the road. I am more fearful of those two games than I am of LSU. And FSU could field of team of quadriplegic midgets with pneumonia, and they would still give us ****.

LSU is all about not making mistakes and turnovers and giving the game away. That's what they are hoping for, because that 4-wide bull&hit is a joke.

Yeah, I mean USC knew what he was - a great assistant coach who's an incredible asset to any program he's a part of - but not as the CEO. I'd take him in a heartbeat at Miami in certain roles. Head coach? Hard pass

I like Ed O, old UM guy(and the stories Ive heard about him and Erickson, oh boy) but like guys like Norv Turner, Richie Petibone, Dan Henning, and many others, they are better off as assistants or coordinators but not the head man in charge

Just the way he handled the situation with his offensive coordinator(Matt Canada) last year was just another example of that.

Again, none of us are in the Miami building but I get the sense coach Richt has this program exactly where he wants it - or further along - three years in. Can't wait to get to Dallas/Arlington in two weekends....

LIES!!! How the heck would they be able to count that high?

they all took their shoes and socks off and counted this little piggy went to market...this little piggy went to jail...this little piggy went to market...this little piggy went to jail...
