Man, LSU loves to pay buyouts.

MAYBE ,BUT I'd rather my team does that rather than keep an obvious ill fitting failure around and letting him continue crapping in the bed ...i.e. like we did with Golden for a couple of years.

My Gawd!! I'm so glad those days are gone.

Sure its always better to have made the right decision in the 1st place BUT when the guy is continually stinking up the joint, you've got to air the room out and if buying him out is the only way to get him out of there DO IT!!.

I'm all for clean fresh air ....because it smells like VICTORY
Difference between Golden and Orgeron, is in the latter case you knew exactly what you were getting with Orgeron. This is Orgeron.

Don't discount performance of any sec team on any given day. It sounds like forum already has penciled in a victory for us in opening game of 2018. Not so fast. We finished season very poorly and will have several new players that have little or no experience starting game. Odds makers will make this a close game at a neutral site which is not far from Louisiana.

Get the mighty SEC d!ck out of your mouf. I'll discount that entire conference every Saturday of the year and twice on Sunday and any real Canes fan with a spine would too. You're probably one of these slurper SEC fanboys that actually believe "it just means more" there and that Miami could only wish to one day be on par with their faux elite teams.

Oh, I agree. But money is still money and it comes from someplace. When you massively spend repeatedly, the well will eventually run dry. If I redeemer, the wanted to fire Les a year earlier but couldn't afford buy so they waited. Even in Bama, Saban would not have his helicopter is he only had 1 or 2 titles. LSU, FSU, TN, UF all had problems hiring or made strange choices in hiring HCs lately. I only hope that all that bag money is draining their $$$ sources. Our return must be driving the prices up plus Smart at uga has, I am sure massively increase what they are spending. I doubt we do any of that given our exposure and the fact that we never really had does sort of boosters.

wrong. Cane alumni. Season ticket holder for over 15 years. You are one of those posters on this site that if another poster's message is contrary to your belief, you counter with profane baseless comment. Grow up kid.

18’ LSU is going to be the 17’ Florida and Surtain going to be the CJ Henderson of LSU if he decides to go there. Staff will be fired soon and LSU is ****ed for the next 3-4 years.

Maybe he was hard on you because of your well-earned reputation as a porster.

I'd guess Miami -3.5

I'm always impressed the way the "clever" posters use their slang such as "porsters" and "corch" instead of "posters" and "coach". You guys are super clever and much too intelligent for me to question the comment in your message.

Thanks, man. "Porster" is an effective shorthand. It saves me from calling you a knuckle-dragging dimwit who floats around here gleefully nipping at Peter's heels, doggedly hoping to find an opportunity to call him wrong.

Firing Canada after one year while not letting him run his offense , then hiring a te coach because that was the cheap route.

This is an absolute dumpster fire , Cookie Monster is dead man walking.

This basically says it all in a nutshell.

Let’s forget for a second how good we think LSU is or isn’t, because we can all agree there is talent on their roster.

But why do you hire a name OC, handcuff him and not let him install his offense but yours, fire him after one year, and the just throw in your TE coach to replace him? I mean it isn’t homerism to say that’s the definition of a dumpster fire.

Wrong. Cane alumni. Season ticket holder for 20 years this year. But guess what? Those bona fides are meaningless and don't provide cover to "porsters" like you that continuously do things like bow at the altar of all things SEC. A 19 yr old kid from Kendall that goes to FIU and has a partial season ticket plan but loves this program enough to refrain from such douchebaggery is more of an asset to this fanbase than you'll ever be. I'll grow up when you get a spine.
