first, I just want to apologize for any LSU fans who may have been ***** lately. people get brave on message boards, every base has them, but theyre a small minority. except with bama fans. all of them are *****, no one deserves success less than those recruit-buying hillbillies, they could pull a Marshall for all I care, **** them.

point being, Ive watched the game a few times now, and obviously youve been thinking about this one for months and youre ****ed because things didnt go great, but youre still gonna win the Coastal with relative ease imo.

your defensive front 7 was great, and your WRs are absolutely terrific, Thomas in particular was borderline amazing. I have no idea why people are sleepin on the LSU defense, but rest assured, it is legit, and you moved the ball.

even worse, you threw the ball.

Rosiers intermediate game is ****, I'll be candid, but he showed a really nice deep ball, and your WRs are good enough to win those. our top 3 CBs are an All American and two Top 50 prospects, and you still caught deep balls.

I am not happy about that, but you should be.

I have no idea if the LSU defense is better than Clemsons, but in terms of sheer talent, at least as recruits, its slightly better.

this is LSUs starting 11 and their grade on the 24/7 composite as a prospect

- DE - Rashard Lawrence (JR) - number 23 - 0.9847
- NT - Breiden Fehoko (JR TR) - number 51 - 0.9753
- DE - Glen Logan (SO) - number 156 - 0.9318
- BENCH LB - K'Lavon Chaisson (SO) - number 37 - 0.9821
- MLB - Jacob Phillips (SO) - number 61 - 0.9719
- ROVER - Devin White (JR) - number 135 - 0.9393
- FIELD LB - Michael Divinity (JR) - number 64 - 0.9675
- CB - Greedy Williams (SO) - number 219 - 0.9164
- SS - John Battle (SR) - number 406 - 0.8800
- FS - Grant Delpit (SO) - number 66 - 0.9679
- CB - Kristian Fulton (JR) - number 22 - 0.9861

average grade = .9548

same for Clemson

- DE - Clelin Ferrel (JR) - number 115 - 0.9468
- DT - Dexter Lawrence (JR) - number 2 - 0.9992
- DT - Christian Wilkins (GR) - number 24 - 0.9893
- DE - Austin Bryant (SR) - number 200 - 0.9190
- SLB - Isaiah Simmons (SO) - number 451 - 0.8746
- MLB - Tre Lamar (JR) - number 58 - 0.9713
- WLB - Kendall Joseph (SR) - number 593 - 0.8610
- CB - AJ Terrell (SO) - number 55 - 0.9745
- SS - K'Von Wallace (JR) - number 1504 - 0.8243
- FS - Tanner Muse (JR) - number 706 - 0.8574
- CB - Trayvon Mullen (JR) - number 63 - 0.9679

average grade = .9259

some others...

.9641 = bama
.9548 = LSU
.9259 = Clemson
.9181 = Oklahoma
.9118 = Michigan
.9040 = Miami

the LSU defense has 2 First Team All Americans and 15 others who were top 100 overall prospects. all this under Dave Aranda in his 3rd year.

- CB - Kristian Fulton (JR) - number 22
- CB - Kary Vincent (SO) - number 95
- CB - Greedy Williams (SO) - First Team All-American
- CB - Kelvin Joseph (FR) - number 42
- S - Ed Paris (SR) - number 41
- S - Grant Delpit (SO) - number 66
- S - Jacoby Stevens (SO) - number 18
- S - Eric Monroe (SO) - number 55
- S - Todd Harris (SO) - number 86
- LB - Michael Divinity (JR) - number 64
- LB - Devin White (JR) - First-Team All-American
- LB - K'Lavon Chaisson (SO) - number 37
- LB - Jacob Phillips (SO) - number 61
- DL - Rashard Lawrence (JR) - number 23
- DL - Breiden Fehoko (JR) - number 51
- DL - Ed Alexander (JR) - number 68
- DL - Tyler Shelvin (RS FR) - number 54

so if you can get yards on us, you can get yards on anyone. yeah you didnt finish your drives, but thats sort of an Aranda thing. he doesnt give up TDs. LSU led the nation in TDs allowed two years ago, so you should notice that problem magically disappear going forward.

it's hard to cheer for lsu, your fans are just.. gawd awful in every sense

they just wanna go SEC SEC SEC *******! instead of truly looking at the game and thanking their lucky stars that the qb of this team throwing to 5 nfl wide receivers wouldn't start on some high school teams

While the kind words are nice, the problem is we haven’t improved one bit. All the issues we had last year, are still issues this year.

Appreciate the post. I’m going to be curious to see how y’all do against the Bama and Georgia’s of the world.

Good and fair post, but as it's been mentioned - if we have a decent QB, this is a much different ball game. Not great QB, not even good to solid....an above average QB and the game is much different.

Congrats, you guys did win fair and square and I do hope you go undefeated. NOTHING would make me happier than see BAMA miss a playoff this year.

keep in mind that youre talking to LSU right now, so believe me, I know how enraging that is. we wasted Fournette and Guice, we wasted Beckham and Landry. that offense had 8 guys who started in the NFL as rookies and we still finished 3rd in our own god **** division.

the good news is you have Richt, and even though he doesnt seem to be very popular right now, the dude knows QBs, and QBs know that he knows QBs, so they will come to CG and play for him. they just will, it will happen, just like it always did at UGA.

Congrats, you guys did win fair and square and I do hope you go undefeated. NOTHING would make me happier than see BAMA miss a playoff this year.

well as we all know, even if LSU does somehow beat bama, they still have a birthright to the playoffs, espn will make sure of that. it would be rude to ask the great nick saban to win his own division simply to advance in a win-and-advance system, so the regualr season for them is just a formaility, they dont really have to win thier own division or anything,

LSU has a grown man defense that’s for sure

Not sure they can overcome the comedy that is Ed Orgeron though. Playing in that conference there’s just too many chances to be exposed.

**** we only had one tough game scheduled this year and Richt got exposed so....

Thanks for the classy sentiment and post. Good luck on the rest of the season. I sure hope you beat Alabama, I think you'll find we hate them down here just as much.

Classy post, something you don't see a lot of these days. I was worried about that front 7 LSU can always find them.

Best of luck to LSU, and kick Satan in the gonads for us, okay. Your guys played lights out and deserved the victory.

Ours were simply not prepared, after eight months, to play in a marquee game against a ranked opponent

This has what’s got everyone ****ed off down here.

Losing a tight contest to you guys would, have been understandable. That happens all the time to great teams.

Losing the way we did to you guys last night was inexcusable. That’s why the fan base down here just shortened Richt’s leash considerably.

Appreciate the post and since a lot of my money and my daughter went to LSU I’m kind of obligated to pull for the Tigers if I want to See my granddaughters so good luck the rest of the year.

Classy post OP. I think there will be a few Canes pulling for the Tigers when you meet Sabag and Ugay.

Best of luck to ya'll as well!
