first, I just want to apologize for any LSU fans who may have been ***** lately. people get brave on message boards, every base has them, but theyre a small minority. except with bama fans. all of them are *****, no one deserves success less than those recruit-buying hillbillies, they could pull a Marshall for all I care, **** them.
point being, Ive watched the game a few times now, and obviously youve been thinking about this one for months and youre ****ed because things didnt go great, but youre still gonna win the Coastal with relative ease imo.
your defensive front 7 was great, and your WRs are absolutely terrific, Thomas in particular was borderline amazing. I have no idea why people are sleepin on the LSU defense, but rest assured, it is legit, and you moved the ball.
even worse, you threw the ball.
Rosiers intermediate game is ****, I'll be candid, but he showed a really nice deep ball, and your WRs are good enough to win those. our top 3 CBs are an All American and two Top 50 prospects, and you still caught deep balls.
I am not happy about that, but you should be.
I have no idea if the LSU defense is better than Clemsons, but in terms of sheer talent, at least as recruits, its slightly better.
this is LSUs starting 11 and their grade on the 24/7 composite as a prospect

the LSU defense has 2 First Team All Americans and 15 others who were top 100 overall prospects. all this under Dave Aranda in his 3rd year.
- CB - Kristian Fulton (JR) - number 22

- CB - Kelvin Joseph (FR) - number 42
- S - Ed Paris (SR) - number 41
- S - Grant Delpit (SO) - number 66
- S - Jacoby Stevens (SO) - number 18

- DL - Breiden Fehoko (JR) - number 51
- DL - Ed Alexander (JR) - number 68
- DL - Tyler Shelvin (RS FR) - number 54
so if you can get yards on us, you can get yards on anyone. yeah you didnt finish your drives, but thats sort of an Aranda thing. he doesnt give up TDs. LSU led the nation in TDs allowed two years ago, so you should notice that problem magically disappear going forward.
