Like myself and others have stated: if a kid comes on campus and coach says “the school is behind the football team” but he walks on campus and sees the facilities and the difference in spending as well as the difference in caring, he’s not gonna believe anything a coach says. Hard to compete with a school that spends money and has a billboard for a kid and then cancels class for a game while we get voicemails to please give us money for our team, but still have an old *** locker room and rusting trophies.

We still suck but this certainly ain't unique to LSU or the SEC where it just means moarrrrr. Plenty of schools will "cancel" classes around championship games. It's just a cute easy little story for the lazy media to "report" every year.

Well I guess this lets students at LSU know that their primary purpose as students for attending their garbage school is to be fans of the football team. I’d love to see how many Rhodes scholars LSU has produced. Amazing to me that people are so ecstatic about bragging about sports at their schools while ignoring how awful the academics are.

Unfu*kingbelievable that we're making fun of LSUs administration/Faculty/students, as they are 48hrs from playing for a NC.....
