Anyone have a feel for LSU and who might leave early ? Huge game for us next year
- I am thinking Guice but havent seen confirmation

Looks likes a bunch of bunch of WRs are Seniors and their QB as well
- Not much movement on their OL

Ton of Seniors on their D line

Good friend that is an LSU fan thinks they’re due to take a step back next year before they get better in years to come. He’s not even confident the getting better part will happen under coach O

If our QB hits easy passes, especially the deep ones, our line will look a LOT better. No line is going to look good if the QB can't keep a D honest. We are extremely limited with Rosier, and teams know this.
 
going to this game, first since 2009 Champs Sports Bowl against Wisconsin.

Orgeron is a terrible head coach. They will continue stepping back.

They lose their top 2 juniors to the NFL in (RB) Derrius Guice and (DE) Arden Key. Both should be 1st round picks.

The senior starters they lose include:

(QB) Danny Etling
(WR) DJ Chark - their best receiver
(WR) Russell Gage
(LT) KJ Malone
(DE) Christian LaCouture
(DT) Greg Gilmore
(LB) Donnie Alexander
(LB) Corey Thompson
(S) John Battle

Overall, they're losing a lot of their top tacklers on defense and their #1 QB, RB and WR. Unless they get some crazy QB transfer in the off season, I see LSU taking a slight step backwards next year and we should favored against them to start the season.
 
wouldn't surprise me if that Shea Patterson guy transfers there from Ole ****.
 
Until we're all the way back, every game is huge. No benefit of the doubt for our program. Everyone wants to count us out. LSU is going to be LSU. They'll have athletes, maybe not Guice or Key, but they'll have impact players. But so too will many of the other teams we play. I'm much more concerned about who we have taking snaps and the five young men in front of him. Everywhere else, I already know we'll have players who can compete with everyone on our schedule.
