LSU 2018

I'd be shocked if the stadium is 60% full. LSU fans have lost a lot of their juice for the team after Saban ripped their heart out and has beaten them 7x in a row. Miami fans don't travel as a general rule. Tickets will be extremely expensive. I'd bet on only 40-50k people there.

Probably 80-85% of the 45k would favor LSU. But I don't think it will be too loud and hostile. These neutral site games are BS. Absolute cash grab.

Miami fans don't travel well? Did you watch/go to the ACCCG? I was there, I'll tell you, we did a pretty **** good job considering our travel vs. Clemson's.

You must work for ESPN.

I hate ESPN. I just don't see a bunch of S Fl people (and zero students) going to Texas during the start of the school year. Hope I'm wrong but I highly doubt it. Also it will be Atlantic Hurricane season. SFL and Louisiana ppl won't be blowing money to schlep to a game against a non-rival.

You are entirely wrong and you claimed that “Miami fans dkn’t travel as a rule,” which is also wntirely wrong.

Cane fans would travel for playoffs or NC game. Look, maybe I'll be wrong. I doubt too many people total will blow $$$ to go to Jerry world in general for first game of season against a non-rival.

How many of our +/- 10k students will make the trip? Including the team maybe 300? Be honest yo

I guarantee that we will have a rocking sellout vs FSU. UNC will also have good attendance. Tailgate for Savannah State will also be lit if they let frats throw down again in field of dreams. Other games are like whatever

OK, you probably just started following college football

Haha. But it's hurricane season, bro! Everyone in South Florida is gonna be barricaded in their houses waiting for the storms to pass! Pray for us! Maybe the cable will stay on long enough for us to see JerryWorld filled with LSU fans!

C'mon now. It's a holiday weekend, Miami alumni/Hurricane Club members can actually afford to travel (the students are irrelevant to these type of games) and it's a national stage game in a stadium that is still an attraction....AND we should be coming off a major bowl win and be highly ranked in all the preseason nonsense polls.

We'll be represented just fine.

Is it confirmed that our fourth non-conference game is Savannah State?

They recruit a a very high level, like multiple top 5 classes on their roster. I wouldn't expect people here to know that though, so I am guessing everyone will be unaware that they are the talent favorites on paper and are currently the top nfl factory in the land. They are in reload phase talent wise, and are held down by their coach and QB play.

Our QB is trash, and our d line looks to be taking a huge hit this year. If Rosier starts and both our DT go to the nfl, we are losing this game.

Stopped reading when you claimed people here wouldn't be cognizant of the fact that L$U "recruits" well. C'mon now (second time I've had to say that in this thread).

Lmao. Yeah, nobody here knows LSU recruits well. Only enlightened peeps like you do.

It's a secret only those west of the Mississippi are privy to. Love the analysis that they've only been held down by $hitty coaching and $hitty QB play too. Ya know- the little things.

Thanks to westcoastcanes for pointing that out. Us in florida had no idea that LSU has had bad coaching and bad QB play.

Ticket prices for this game are ridiculous. More expensive than the Orange Bowl. SMH

The tickets aren’t even really on sale yet I think. Some websites like stubhub will sell “tickets” but what they are really selling you is a guarantee that they will get tickets in the area you’re buying them in.

Not worried about this game. Either Rosier will take monumental steps at getting better or Perry will pass him up, maybe even Weldon, who knows. We will have multiple TEs and a serious running game. Can't wait.

LSU is loaded with talent.

They will have a crowd advantage.

Orgeron + Canada is extremely unpredictable

Assuming that LSU will be anything less than a SEC West power is a mistake

Big, tough game
