Lowe?

The way I see it we won’t have one Individual guy who was dominant like Bain, but rather a plethora of guys who just dawgs who get after it and more rotation/depth this year that keeps everyone fresh
I think that was the one weakness if that’s a weakness is he played too many snaps and he would wear down later in games.

Seems like it. Dude looks great in short area work, looks explosive pause

I still don’t think Lightfoot is an every down player.

I’d rather see Blount/Lowe/Scroggins setting the edge for 1-2 quarters. If our O does what we expect, lightfoot will see tons of snaps as opponents go pass heavy to attempt to keep up.

I think Blount is moving inside to DT.

He played some DT this 2025 season and held his own. Our DL seems fine with all the depth.
Much like Lightfoot, Blount isn’t an every down DT. At least not at 280lbs. He is still a very young kid so I don’t doubt he could add more weight. We have lots of pieces so we don’t need him as a starter. Now if he can’t add weight, keep him as a hybrid.

Play Blount at DE on early downs and replace him with Lightfoot on 3rd down/obvious passing downs. Blount can kick inside or go get a breather on those downs.

Is Blount 280, he looks closer to 270? Regardless, Davis and Blount need to be closer to 290 if they are going to be an every down DT.

That means both of them have to add somewhere btw 35-45lbs out of high school, that’s a lot. But we will see what happens.
