Love this statement by Richt

I will say the Admin has already set up the Alumni pretty well for game days. The entire endzone club level is reserved for former players for free. They get drinks and food. For bigger games, they actually rent out several other boxes around the stadium to meet the demand for tickets. I think that's why they have turned down the sideline passes. With the large amount of notable alumni, how could you possibly pick who gets to be on the sideline and who doesn't.

Only alumni from the Ring of Honor get to hang on the sideline?

Al said the same thing until the pillars started crumbling.

Agreed. That was part of the "Golden just gets it" phase.

We'll see what happens with this. I do consider it certain that Richt has less insecurity and more respect than Golden. Some of Golden's flaws became apparent reasonably quickly and his response to criticism (whether warranted or not) was to eliminate people. Richt is more of an established entity. I don't think he'll have the same issues to the same degree.

Just look at what each coach's former players say, or more importantly, don't say about them. A bunch of Golden's former players either bash the coaching style, scheme and philosophy, or are just silent about it and prefer not to throw shade. Look at Richt's former players and almost to a man they give him love and talk about how he helped make them a better player and man. Just look at last year's UGA team asking him to come back to the team banquet and giving him the GT/UGA trophy (I believe--feel free to correct me on that).
