Louisville vs NC State

Mario was brought in so we wouldn't be in dog fights with these kinds of programs anymore.

Maybe we're not at that level yet, but we've upgraded our talent and coaching enough that we should feel confident we'll win these games.

But it may take another season before some can overcome battered fan syndrome. For many, they were cured as soon as we beat A&M and no longer fear these mediocre ACC teams.

Only way we lose to either team is if TVD turns into Jarren Williams and throws a bunch of dumb INTs.

Ironically, Jarren Williams’ best game of his career was against Louisville.

If you have never been there, you may not know what a total home field advantage Carter Finley is for NC State. Place reminds me of OB but with much better food and no inconveniences. Just a great place to watch a game. For Louisville to go in there and walk out a winner is special. The Louisville teams coached by Satterfield would have struggled there. I got to give them props for doing that. But that being said, the saddest thing for me is to see how Brennan Armstrong has gotten worse each year he has played. He was aweful last year with Virginia and even with his old OC back coaching him this year he is not any better. Both he and Virginia are on a slide I didn't see forthcoming a few years ago. I would not be surprised if NC State made a QB change at some point this year. He just not the same player he was a few years ago.

Armstrong has been putrid. He has no arm at all. All he did last night was throw YOLO balls.

Headed in the right direction is fluid these days. Make a couple of good portal moves, recruit well, stay healthy, it’s all good. For teams that aren’t stacked, attrition thru transfers, injury and graduation can set a team back or in a season long tail spin. Fortunately for us we have a HC/staff that are obsessed with recruiting, portal guys, Juco guys to rebuild. Maintaining forward momentum and consistency before and after rebuilding is the key. Headed in the right direction can end in quickly if you take your eyes off the road.

Well UL doesnt play UNC, Clemson or FSU. Them potentially only having 1 L in conference play isn't ideal for those of us wanting to play in the ACCCG. If SOS is more important, I'm sure this made you happy .

I think they'll lose to ND (doesn't matter for ACC), duke, us, and drop one more. they didn't exactly look like an incredible offense last night when they played someone with a pulse. just was saying by the time they get to us it'll be a ranked win for the good guys - where I don't think NC state had a chance to be ranked when they get to us
