Louisville vs NC State

Louisville might make it with just 2 losses in the ACC. Everybody going to beat each other up from here and out. This might be one game we look back and needed NC State to win. I would feel a lot better if Pittsburgh beats Louisville. Duke should beat them but Louisville at home
I disagree. Pittsburgh is terrible. They only have Duke and Miami. They could beat Duke and lose to Miami and make the title game.

Meanwhile, Miami could blow out Louisville, but lose 2/3 to UNC/Clemson/FSU and not make it to the championship game.

There are teams that have a competive advantage with weaker schedules. Louisville is one of them. The irony is the better teams have the tougher schedules.

There won't be any 2 loss teams in Charlotte. I don't see it.

I really believe this was the intention because the ACC wants higher rated games with more of the better teams playing each other. They do this at the peril of competitive fairness.

Louisville only hit a chance with deep ball and inconsistent at that. Run game averages going down. We should be able to beat both by two possessions.

You guys are on glue if you think either of these teams will be an easy game for the Canes this season.

NC State might be rough cause its a road game but if Armstrong the QB our defense will eat him up. I'm a lot less worried about both teams after tonight. Both teams look like your average ACC teams of years past. The question is how good is Miami? If the canes blow out Ga Tech then I really believe they will beat both NC State and Louisville by halftime.

Pitts gave UNC a pretty tough game last week. I'm just going with Pitt might win cause they're at home and Louisville not that good

We have no choice but to go undefeated. It's not negotiable.
If you have never been there, you may not know what a total home field advantage Carter Finley is for NC State. Place reminds me of OB but with much better food and no inconveniences. Just a great place to watch a game. For Louisville to go in there and walk out a winner is special. The Louisville teams coached by Satterfield would have struggled there. I got to give them props for doing that. But that being said, the saddest thing for me is to see how Brennan Armstrong has gotten worse each year he has played. He was aweful last year with Virginia and even with his old OC back coaching him this year he is not any better. Both he and Virginia are on a slide I didn't see forthcoming a few years ago. I would not be surprised if NC State made a QB change at some point this year. He just not the same player he was a few years ago.

His first 2 years as a starter? 49 TD’s to 21 picks
His last 2? 12 TD’s to 18 picks

Carter Finley the toughest place in the ACC but whew I feel good about that game with Armstrong at QB. Fingers cross he stays at QB

Mario was brought in so we wouldn't be in dog fights with these kinds of programs anymore.

Maybe we're not at that level yet, but we've upgraded our talent and coaching enough that we should feel confident we'll win these games.

But it may take another season before some can overcome battered fan syndrome. For many, they were cured as soon as we beat A&M and no longer fear these mediocre ACC teams.
