The only question I have; why does anyone think Bill O'Brien—Alabama coordinator, former Penn State head coach and former Houston Texans head coach—would want to come to Miami, after success in Tuscaloosa?
Dude has his sights on a bigger prize; a bigger college program or a return to the NFL—or both.
I don't see at all how this guy has any interest in trying to rebuild Miami—where so many others have failed—or the lack of pageantry that comes from no college experience, off-campus stadium, etc. after what he's done in Tuscaloosa and Happy Valley.

He's definitely no NFL gm but the man can coach his *** off. He won a playoff game with freaking Brock Osweiler as his qb. Not to mention how he guided penn state through that mess. We'd be extremely lucky to get him. Lets be real if I erased most miami fans memory of the fact Mario has ties here and asked what coach would you prefer between Mario & O' Brein I think it would be O'Brein in a landslide.

OK so now I am a "Weirdo" for telling you guys that a very big Pen State booster (former player-uber rich who watches their games from the sidelines) told me that PSU would take O'brien back in a heartbeat if Franklin goes to USC.........Look the guy had success at everywhere he went until the Texans imploded. I get that. But, just watch. He is going to land a big job after Bama makes yet another run at a NC.................
