Losing in winning? (Miami-Vatech thoughts)

On the opening drive of second half we to rotate? Lol

Also, we started with that dink and dunk **** in the second half and stopped throwing it down field.
The excuses some people give this team is ridiculous. Always an excuse for our ****** play and play victim when the committee doesn’t respect us. Miss me with that.

Enjoy the pop tart bowl, my guy. You deserve each other.

Our philosophy was trash, though it’s gotten slightly better running the same plays we have been all along

This is not meant as "I told you guys..." post, but why are folks surprised at the relative low margin of victory? VT has always played us tough regardless of record and they were playing at home. I'm surprised at how many folks seem surprised.

The greatest team ever needed a dropped two point conversion to avoid OT against an average VT team in '01. Today was not surprising at all.

Lane stadium was rocking at the beginning, Enter Sandman gets the juice flowing for the Hokie fans, it was an awesome experience to be there for it. They love that little qb that replaced Drones.

Sat on the visitor 50, 7 rows up.

VT fans were great, stadium rocked for about 3/4s of the first. **** died fast. Fans piled out beginning of the 4th.

Both sides in the stands agreed the ACC refs are ******* terrible. VT fans even confused over the 6th and 1.

Lots of VT fans gave Mario credit for taking a timeout on 4th in the third with 6 seconds left. You may not have noticed at home, but if we let it go to the fourth, we'd be kicking against the wind. Stadium was windy as **** at times.

VT just spent money on Franklin. I was about 3 foot from him at the beginning of the game. They wore alternate jerseys. Stadium was about 98% full at the start and only allotted a small amount of tickets to UM. I was surrounded by VT fans on the visitor 50 on lower level.

They wanted to win bad.

I can't blame Mario for winning games convincingly to the point the whole conversation is about style points and not the outcome of the game. Wins games and keep it moving. I dont see Texas A&M apologizing for needing an epic comeback to beat a sorry *** South Carolina after being down 30-3. Where were their style points? Mario shouldn't care about secret "Miami" criteria that doesnt apply to other schools.
if we were unbeaten it wouldn't matter like atm.

I can't help but chuckle at this fan base complaining about a 9 (possibly 10) win season, on the back of a 10 win season last year only beating VT by 17 in Blacksburg.

I'd love to bottle the feeling we had after losing to Middle Tennessee St (**** you could name a dozen games in the last 20 years like that) and open it up in a thread. That was inexcusable. This is just a very good football team that isn't quite elite enough to overcome refereeing yet.

Calm down and enjoy the ride. Good lord.
Mario want brought here for back to back 10 wins season, anything other than the playoffs in years 4 is a failure

Wanna know the hate.

Roddy Jones calling the Vanderbilt vs UK game currently.
Is shilling and wondering why Miami jumped Vanderbilt this week.

*Roddy Jones works for the Acc Network as well

Apparently Vandy's lost have been commendable and to ranked teams....even though to Mizzou who shouldnt ever be ranked but is ranked to keep the sec hype going and food for the better in conference teams .

We don't even have Acc Network workers that care for us. Lol
Roddy only cares about the muscle bound dude from last week televised game

I was up in section 233, fans were alright, they wanted a holding call every time we had the ball on offense, I do get windy at times, so you happen to see the snipers on the roof above the press box??
