I'd love to bottle the feeling we had after losing to Middle Tennessee St (**** you could name a dozen games in the last 20 years like that) and open it up in a thread. That was inexcusable. This is just a very good football team that isn't quite elite enough to overcome refereeing yet.

9 or 10 means jack ****!!! You gonna wear a 10 win 2025 Canes shirt around? Nobody will care or remember. What will be remembered is not playing to the capabilities of this team and losing to two unranked nobody’s when they came in number 2 in the nation! That level of stupidity will be remembered.

If you were smart enough to take a deeper dive beyond the w/l record, you’d understand why 10 wins is a failure? But no, hang your hat on nothing that matters.

Watching Utah on ESPN2 and they had a segment with a title “Miami survives scare”…I understand that we could’ve played better in the second half, but “survived scare” is a very ESPN take.

I guess it just proves that we can’t take any plays off.

Wasn't a complete scare but VT had the ball inside our 50 with 3 or 4 minutes left down by 10.Wit a backup QB too.

Apparently Vandy's lost have been commendable and to ranked teams....even though to Mizzou who shouldnt ever be ranked but is ranked to keep the sec hype going and food for the better in conference teams .

We don't even have Acc Network workers that care for us. Lol

The benefit is miami is not in the playoff.They have zero interest in miami being a dominant force in their conference.We are just a means to draw eyeballs and more eyeballs.Watch when we ***** up than when we win.
 
All this crying. Lol the voters aren’t changing their minds about us. Even if we scored 50 today or next week. We’re just never going to get that type of respect. And it’s all self inflicted. If we handled business we wouldn’t be in this position.

I’m told us blowing them out wouldn’t have made a difference. Meanwhile Vandy, who we jumped last week, is gonna beat UK by 50+. I’m sure the committee won’t look at the two results and draw any conclusions.



Oh I forgot VT is a rivalry of ours lol.

You really think Mario wanted to sneak out with a 3 or 7 point win? He would have loved to win 40-0. We have a banged up defense, and the refs were awful just like SMU.

Look man it makes no sense to me either but its too much of a coincidence. We have 25 years of absolutley ridiculous calls in games we've won and lost as evidence and the script doesnt change. They were in their bag today. ****** camera coverage so all reviews have no good angles. Cut away during review then never show any evidence about the call itself for any discussion. Ticky tack holds and PFs while the other side does whatever they want. Unlike rule enforcement event on what are normally straightforward calls. The only break we got today from this **** crew was the inadvertent whistle and I bet they blew it just in case we picked it off.

Agree to a point, but why is it only Miami who has to "handle business"? Especially when one of the wins is against a team with the same number of losses as Miami and Miami has beaten head-to-head, yet is 4 spots ahead of Miami?
