I wouldn't mind keeping an eye on him during this season, and possibly offering him as a G prospect. He has 2 things that are important--one you teach, the other you can't: leverage, and size. He understands leverage, likely from his wrestling background. His size at 6'2/315 is impressive, and would make a great canvas to work with as a prospect for the next level.
Loved his mean streak, too. He got an unnecessary roughness penalty for finishing a block on Carter and pancaking his *** onto the pile after a BTW run. Mean, undersized OG's who know how to get the job done and punish players are always a good thing to have.
Those are the things I liked...however, I'd like to see how well he moves, if he's an overall athlete, or if he's limited. He could be a finished product already, and not be fast/agile enough to produce like he did Saturday night on a regular basis. Keep in mind too that for all of Carter's talents--he's only listed at 235 pounds. Once a kid that light gets engaged with 6'2/315 with a leverage/strength advantage, it's hard to get disengaged and make plays. What happens to Ingraham when he goes up against kids his size/strength at DT? If he's going to be a OG prospect, that's an extrapolation that needs to be made.
The other question that I'm probably most interested in, is can the kid play DT? If so, I'd like to see him get some reps there this season and show what he can do against Dade competition, so the coaches can evaluate him properly.
