Let the kid get a real strength and conditioning coach before we make him out to be a bust. He has a lot of potential and that's the main thing that coaches look for.

Need to look at him as a DT. Perfect build, and nasty.
I'm just "guessing" but but but I "THINK" our coaches have seen this team in games and practice. lol
Kinda hard to miss the 315 pound kid blocking Thomas in practice.
However, his play tonight does beg the question. Who is this kid?

How is Lorenzo Carter rated above Chad Thomas on any site? Watching Chad today all I kept thinking was future nfl stud.

Dude got his butt handed to him on National Tv, no other way to put it...no matter how any sacks he ends the season with he got owned by an unknown lineman on national tv...he may be great later down the line but he got owned tonight...advantage #53

#53 is Ingram. He did a great job handling Carter tonight.

Chad was definitely the best DE of the night. Jackson played well too. The announcers were impressed with him and how he is committed to Miami

I wouldn't call the kid a bust, but I expect the #3 RATED PLAYER AT HIS POSITION and 5 star recruit to dominate in the game. Oh, and he was not double teamed and was dominated by a kid with ZERO FBS offers.

Don't forget he was pancaked. He was put on skates. One play Ingram literally blocked the kid 10yards upfield. That was nasty.
