Which was wanted, and needed. But remember, that was Coker's last move too before that ship sank completely. The difference is Manny has more talent to work with than that 2006 team, which besides Calais and a few others was as bereft as any non probation Canes team I remember. Coker whiffed completely on the OC hire, and to make matters worse brought in Todd Berry to run Army's read option offense with Kyle and Kirby. Ugh... So I'm happy we're addressing the assistants but I'm not expecting miracles. The culture is broken. I don't know how or if it gets fixed. I don't think Manny knows either. But he has to try.

Its gonna be 4-5 coaches out of the 11 so not a full house. Some coaches actually did their jobs.

The culture can be fixed in the same way the military can take anybody (loser, drug addict, lost, lonely, young, naive, arrogant, whoever) and turn them into obedient, purposeful warriors. It can be done with the right leadership. Is Manny the right leader? We'll see.

What are you hearing Trav to say close to a full house cleaning?

Our RB coach has been decent and I think our DL coach has been decent. But damned near everything else was terrible. Aside from Hedley on ST that was horrific to watch

God you are a sucker. Falling right into the bull**** culture nonsense that curiously only showed up once Manny started showing his ***.

The writing is on the wall. Enos is a no brainier and I can't see Barry being retained. And if Rumph is gone it's really hard to imagine seeing Bands stay. Even if him and Manny are boys. Could be wrong but I seriously doubt it's only gonna be 2 or 3 assistants. On offense it'll really depend on who the OC is but a big time guy will want his own guys. Baker may survive.

Todd Berry did not run read option offense at Army.
It was a version of the spread that he had been running since his days as ECU OC under Steve Logan.

Not with us it wasn't. Kyle and Kirby kept or handed off like 80% of the time. Watch that excruciating Maryland game if you want bad memories.
