Looks like a "Fire Al Golden" banner is in the works

it's an FAA violation to fly a plane within 3 miles of a stadium and at a minimum of 3,000 feet within 1 hour before and after game! Enjoy wasting your money!

Stop doing stuff like this. There are other ways to express your "discomfort" without embarrassing the Hurricanes fanbase.

THIS is the critical piece that people miss. Its all been done before. EVERY time. They already KNOW its eventually going to happen. Its been flown for coach after coach. Its not going to do anything but give rival fans and schools more fodder to laugh at and bash UM and our fanbase. The administration is going to make a decision on Golden based on his record and the state of the program, not based on banners.

I honestly do NOT see ANY scenario, where a recruit at the FSU game sees that banner and says, wow, that makes me want to go to UM even more. NONE.

Flood the AD with emails, letters and calls. Call the BOT. Call Shalala. THAT might stir up some heat. The banner, is just the modern incarnation of the "for sale" sign, or the toilet paper in front of the house before that. Coaches have been catching sh*t like that for a half century. It might make some people feel better, but its not going to do a **** thing to get Golden out of here any faster.

There may be two large banners in the end zones saying the same thing, and if so, not one extra point, not one field goal will be kicked that everyone won't be seeing those banners.

Actually you'll get more bang for the buck with those large banners unrolled in the end zone.
 
To be completely honest -- the only problem I have with the banner idea is that after the plane finishes flying around the stadium, that it won't have time to crash itself directly into the face of every Al Golden supporter in the state.

Would Golden be stupid enough to give recruits a ticket to the FSU game? Give them tickets to the Pitt game or some other ****** team that we will barely squeak by.

Handcuff our entire program and future for a handful of recruits, brilliant idea.

If AD's had the same simpleton mindset as our fans, coaches would just ******* hold their position until they died off, since everyone would be too scared to make a change and lose a few recruits.

I think expectations on Kaaya were way too high....we have a freshman QB, we obv cant be that good on O this year but going through this will only help us in recruiting.....but maybe im just the optomist
