Pure corners might be able to cover but can they tackle? Diaz values who runs to ball, Who tackles, who sets edges on defense, who teammates believe in them more than if they can cover, he isnt worried about catches..
So in an era of passing and 4/5 WR sets dont wrry about passing, got it. Lol

The good thing for him is his length, which can help guys who aren’t very fast or twitchy. We do need more complete corners. More corners that check all the boxes. Couch is twitchy but 165lbs soaking wet. Verdict will be out on Marcus Clarke but his background position has me skeptical under Rumph.

I know this has been said 1000 times but Manny is still making "rookie" mistakes unfortunately. We wouldnt be in this mess if he had just taken Divaad Wilson when he was practically begging to come here. (at least thats how it seemed on his social media) Manny is going to pay for his past sins at CB at some point this year or next year. He put all his faith in DJ Ivey turning the corner and he better pray that it happens for his sake.

He's going to be a baller at 6-2 180, good long speed, and good stopping ability on comeback routes with biggest thing is amazing ball skills. All he needs is time to keep gaining strength but lookout for him to get snaps the second half of this season and then start next to Blades and Couch next season book it.

He wont start over Clarke next season, ill bet a buffalo wooden nickel on it. Clarke is a total Stufd who was there best player over last 2 to 3 years at winter park hs. Kid led the state in td his Jr year. Yall going to learn about him trust this.

Brotha; I promise u I’m not trying to be a dyck, but how much of a baller can he be if Williams (a former 4 star), was a distant 4th behind Couch, Ivey, and Blades, and this dude is behind Williams (and per Manny, the rankings was based upon Greentree Practices)?

This board is forever intrigued with back-ups and depth talk, lol, most of the guys that haven't started weren't ready plain an simple. People complained about rousseau not starting last year, as if prior to that, he wasn't coming off injury. But jock rousseau did what all the Greats at UM did, not cry or complain, just kept working, became worthy and just beat the man out in front of them. Our boy jock rousseau took the man route, he didn't cry or complain that he didn't start, but after the gaytor game, suppose he would entered the portal, the same morons on here with the soft mentalities would've been complaining too.

Can anybody pull up any practice reports that would lead people to believe the new portal guy was making hard to keep him off the field. Seems like we've already heard more about marcus clarke in practice already than we had about the new portal guy. In the words of a certain guy: NEXXXXT!!

Maybe, depends on if the staff actually decides to play him or not.

He's got the best speed, the most fluid change of direction & has natural Ball skills, he's just still raw to the position but he's a natural Football player, he's the kind of kid you throw him out there & he'll get better with each rep every game.

He actually had a number of INT's in Fall camp, obviously it was 3rd team against Tate, but he can play, just needs some schooling on consistent technique.

I really hope we bring him along & let him play this season, keeping him on the bench all year is wasting his skill set, even if he doesn't play a whole lot at CB, let him be a PR'er too. He's got legit 4.4 speed & is a quick-twitch athlete.

Nevermind, El.

Shoulda just kept reading.
