Would like:

- Duke over VT
- LSU over Vandy
- Louisville over Pitt
- ASU over BYU
- SMU over UVA (bring on SMU!)
- Indiana over Ohio state
- UF over Ole Miss
- Col over Kansas
- Syracuse over UConn
- GT over Nc State

Thus would help us the most from a resume standpoint imo and **** Ohio state

I hear you but resume doesn’t mean ****, imo. If we win the next 3 games, we’re the 3 seed. If we don’t, we’re not making the playoffs. I think it’s pretty cut and dry. It’s about as clean a scenario as we’ve had in a long time, imo. We even know where and when the games are being played.

Saturday at Hard Rock
The next Saturday at Cuse
The next Saturday in Charlotte.
January 1 at 1:00 in Atlanta

Win the next 3, you get a 4th. Lose one of them, and you play in some bowl game that doesn’t matter.

I do agree, but in that slight chance we win our next 2 and drop a close one to SMU we might have that sliver of hope that our resume stacks up well enough with other 2 loss opponents.

Duke/UF/Louisville/SMU & GT all need to keep winning and make us as good as possible. Right now we are #9 (most likely will climb to 7/8 tmrw and depending on how teams 1-8 play the next 2 weeks could climb up 2-4 more spots & if we are top 6 & hypothetically lose close to possibly a top 10 SMU would we really drop all the way out of the top 12?

- Duke potentially going 9-3 helps a lot in this scenario
- If Louisville beats Pitt they finish 8-4
- Ole Miss losing to UF would give them L’s to both UF & Kentucky…
- Vandy losing makes alabamas loss to them worse
- If ASU beats BYU that knocks them out completely
- SMU needs to keep winning and finish top 10

But ultimately I agree, win and you’re in. Lose and well…

I mentioned on the Tuesday night rankings thread that them putting us at #9 did pique my interest with respect to possibly getting in with 2 dominant wins the next 2 weeks and a razor thin loss vs SMU in a classic. But realistically I just don’t see it.

Unless they lose, ND is in.
We know a G5 is in.
We know Big 12 champ is in.
We know ACC champ is in.

They’re not going to leave out a 4th SEC or B1G team to put a 2nd ACC team in. I just don’t see it. It’d take the most perfect run out of all time. The SEC and B1G need insanely massive upsets.

There’s a chance for Chaos with rivalry week.

My GUESS is the CFP will look like this tmrw for the top 15.

1. Oregon
2. Ohio state
3. Texas
4. Penn state
5. Indiana
6. ND
7. Miami
8. Bama
9. Ole Miss
10. UGA
11. Boise state
12. SMU
13. Tennessee
14. Texas A&M
15. BYU or Colorado

Bama still has: @ OU, Vs Auburn

Tennessee still has: @ Vandy

Texas still has: @ Texas A&M

Ole Miss has: @ UF

ND has: Vs Army, @ USC

Winner of IU/Ohio state makes things interesting too

Penn state has: @ Minnesota, Vs Maryland

If Ole Miss, Bama, ND, Tennessee or Penn state loses again and Miami loses a close one to SMU I’m not so sure we don’t get the nod over them…

Win 3 straight games and leave the math and gymnastics for later. Let's go!!!
