There is a world where he was unable to get back to where he was before the injury and saw he was never going to be able to play here and therefore decides to maybe drop down a level. For Miami they honored it because it was the right thing to do but also because they likely hoped he would recover and get back to where he was before the injury.

We spent a roster spot allowing Bobby Washington to rehab. He was going to transfer last year with his brother before he got hurt and needed surgery.

Personally I don’t think either was ever going to be a contributor here and had already been recruited over.

Also both were from Dade county and cutting them loose when injured would not have been a good look.
