Gotcha. Volume will be lower but we will spend just as much $$ if not more. That was my point.

I have a difference of opinion here. I think volume and expenditures to be substantially lower this year. We don't have that many holes to plug...at all really. We have to have QB and LB. We basically need depth at all other positions, even then we may not need it at positions we think we do.

I don't see us swinging big this portal cycle. I think we take the best low hanging fruit, get the best qb we can for value and call it a season.

Then, add in depth pieces you’ll need at OL, DT, and safety and you have a 8-11 portal class.

Forget “value” when it comes to QB. Get the best fit and close the deal. And i think they will.

To many teams with crazy money in this one portal period now. Overall, their is a bunch of talent, though. Time for me to focus on Ole Miss.

We just got $14M from the playoffs and boosters have to be thrilled with Mario right now so they def will throw money at him if he needs it. Not saying we're gonna spend recklessly but hard to imagine we cant get the guys we want

Ferelli is a player too and has 3 years. I told em ill take both Ferelli is the same size as Chase Smith right now.

This lb portal year has an insane amount of talent..i dont think we can miss on grabbing two good onees

Gaby is reporting that we hit a HR with these 2. He’s getting more info on Jacobs but Thornton is a priority.

I think they’re planned on taking him and Koi from the start.

Him and Koi would be a grand slam. Koi can replace Scott and be just as effective in that role and Thornton can replace the enforcer role that Thomas plays. Add these two guys while retaining what’s already in the roster and Miami will have the best secondary in the nation next season.

He is coming off a huge injury last season too. Just like Beck The further away he gets from it the healthier and more recovered he has been able to play

I’m sure they have the expectation of losing a lot of guys to the portal after the season. A lot more desperate than Miami is.
Mario is also weird about not letting anything leak or having distractions. It’s over the top but it’s who he is.

I don’t see how any player Heatherman targets isn’t jumping at the opportunity to be apart of this defense. I think every defensive player has had a career year and all the young guys that have played have shown flashes. Unreal job of development.
