You can poke fun of Flowe all you want, but you have to give him respect for earning Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam.

I can't hate the reasons Cam Ward gave for why Transfer Portal is a good thing for the student-athlete, especially for the opportunity to transfer to another school with better playing and/or financial opportunities.
Notwithstanding being a hater, this is a good thing.
However, the t/p windows have to make better sense.
Players up and leaving seemingly at any time not only stinks for the coaches but also for their teammates and fans and, yes, the coaches are just as culpable with their dipping on their teams
right before bowl games.
NCAA needs to do better with the t/p, recruiting, and postseason windows but they probably don't give a rip.

Signing Gooden, Hurst, and a kid who can play Safety this season would be fine with me. I think we can ride with the roster as is if that happens.

The portal has been a Blessing for Miami & a Thorn in the *** of Alabama & the SEC.
The way it was before Portal & NiL / Alabama ,Georgia & LSu. Down Low NIL system Was robbing all the Talents.

I don't disagree but I repeat that t/p window needs to be organized better, under better windows. I don't have issues with players exploring and exploiting financial and sports-related opportunities, but bolting on teams like they do now is crazy and, again, I have similar issues with coaches doing similar stuff. All this reminds me of soccer where players leave (transfer) during season, but this is another sport and even then they have an international transfer window.
 
I just watched Hurst. He’s a taller, thin wideout who didn’t separate much but did win on contested catches. His route tree seems limited.
