we want a speedy outside guy. Pena was commanding crazy money, I was consistent on this when he entered the portal. we are comfortable enough with our slot.

We been leading for Haulcy tho that's probably the only big name we get and only because of his DB coach. But we missed on every single big target this is nuts.
Like a slot WR choose Penn state That doesn't even use their WRs over playing in the #1 offense in the nation last year in Miami

I think so too relying on him to give us major production year one is a dangerous game. Our slot WRs are the #1 option in this offense. Plus we can't have a single injury in this group through a long 15 game season

Penn State is loaded and positioned for a title run. Fills a real need,

I keep saying this, but nobody makes any comment on it.... Why does everyone just ignore that Jojo can play in the slot? I swear people act like elite X/Z Wrs don't play a lot in the slot especially in college. Justin Jefferson played literally like all his snaps out of the slot at LSU. Look at the draft and how many different body types played like 40% out of the slot. Not every slot WR has to be a Restrepo type....

I see zero reason if we want to feed the slot, why we would have to be RELIANT on Toney. People act like ONLY certain types of players can play in the slot, when that couldn't be further from the truth. Trader can play in the slot. In fact Trader in the Slot is probably where he will actually perform the best - not just have the best output for us.

Idk if I'm taking crazy pills, but I do NOT think we are just relying on Toney. I think the staff is clearly thinking we have Trader and Lofton who will be in the slot a lot as needed. That is why outside WR and Speed has always been the target.

And again I'm not someone who believes in Ray ray at all....

Yes for real with these portal WRs and NY Carr return we can definitely rotate Jojo at slot many times a game to get good match ups and just rotate our WRs.
