I definitely agree with your sentiment, but under this environment I’d argue that having elite coaching and playcalling is needed with so many players fluctuating year to year.

I feel good saying Guidry fits that bill… need to see what Dawson does with a legit QB, but he has a lot of room to improve

Ya I will be curious if the quality of overall play decreases with so much roster turnover.

NFL can somewhat get way with it cause it’s their full time job and they are allowed much more practice and film time.

College is extremely limited with that.

Won’t be many visits. Kids jumping in now already know where they are going most likely. They will be ready to start their summer semesters and get on campus .

This is such a wild time. In addition if a coach wants you to leave to free up a roster spot they can just “not up the bag”. Say to the kid yeah we’re not paying you anymore money cause you haven’t gotten better or you have a bad attitude. Kid will leave 9/10 times. Roster management circa 2024
