I agree. I loved the brief glimpses we saw Pringle. Hits the hole hard and accelerates quicker than any RB we've seen in a while. Reminds me a bit of when I first saw Gore.I want to see Pringle over Lyle get snaps
Idk why I get down votes. Lyle hasn't shown anything other than a touchdown against usfI agree. I loved the brief glimpses we saw Pringle. Hits the hole hard and accelerates quicker than any RB we've seen in a while. Reminds me a bit of when I first saw Gore.
There will be a TON of politicking by not only coaches, but conferences AND their TV partners, ACC basically has none as they are second fiddle so we have no choice but to win with style points. WE DONT PLAY ANYBODY THE NATION RESPECTS REST OF SEASON. We have to dominate the competition and look good doing it.Interestingly enough, I read two separate sites today. One said that Miami is now slipping because FSU has shown not to be very good??. And the other said that people are getting down on Miami because their offense isn’t explosive enough?? They’re too methodical when they score and they won’t be able to keep up with some of the other teams.Silly me, I thought the goal was to win.

Plus taking the entire 4th qtr off on both sides of ball is a recipe for disaster, hurts younger player development, leaves bad taste in mouth, bad for PR, there is no benefit in going in shell for entire 4th qtr, letting teams back in it. Also very bad from top for coaches to expect players to stay aggressive when they go in shell themselves. We need to jockey for playoff positioning or dont complain when we get screwed over because we are in nailbitters with ACC dreg.
We need to win, flirting with shutting down in 4th qtr to allowing teams back in is against what mario preaches.. I understand 4 minute offense but both offense and defense taking off will get us clipped. We spent all off season complaining about being up 21-0 in upstate ny. Now its all good playing to result.. But ok.Literally, who cares? You think a 13-0 Miami is getting left out of the playoff or something?
We just need to win. That's literally it. Just keep winning, every single week.
They did away with the nonsense seeding rules after last year, so if we go 13-0, we 100.0% have a bye in the first round, and play nobody better than #6 in the quarterfinals. I'm good with that. Just win. Sure, winning by 50 every week would be great. But I couldn't care less about SEC shills on twitter. Who gives a **** what anyone says? Games are won on the football field. Let anyone say anything they want, at the end of the day, come see us on the field and we'll settle it. This expanded playoff field takes politics out of it if you're an undefeated P4 champ. You're in. And very highly seeded, to boot.

He has been building it to last with great balance of HS and portal recruiting along with robust talent evaluation to make portal hit.
Lineup is very good without the expected 5-7 portal guys. My guess is 1 QB, 1 OL, 1 DT, 1 DE, 1 LB and maybe 1 WR in portal who start or play starter type minutes.
QB - Portal (there will be great options) for at least one more year
RB - Lyle/Brown/Pringle
WR - Toney/Moore/JoJo
TE - Lofton/Gilbert/Scott
OL - Samson/McCoy/SJ/Buchanon/Kinsler
DL - Blount/Scott/Moten/Lightfoot
LB - Popo/Wiley
CB - Frederique/Lucas/O'Connor
Nickel - Brown or Pruitt
SS - Poyser
FS - Fitzgerald
Expecting this post sooner. But like clock work for CISWe’re playing game 6 of the 2025 season Friday night and already speculating about the 2026 roster. Keep CIS’ing.
Mind games. He probably knew TVD was trash so said it to try and build his confidence

I thought so too. He's listed as a Senior on the official site (https://miamihurricanes.com/sports/football/roster/season/2025-26/player/markel-bell/) I thought he redshirted his first year at JUCO, similar to McKinnie if memory serves. If he plays well against UL's pass rush on Friday, I think his NFL buzz picks up and he leaves, if he has another year left.I thought Bell had one more year left. Figured he and Cantwell at T. Samson and McCoy at G. And pick up another portal center.
Are you responding to me or the OP? I’m not the one looking forward. That would be the OP. Way too often, many “fans” look too far forward and lose focus on what’s current.Lmao
Stop acting like we are on the team and looking forward. We’re just fans and don’t affect anything other than NIL. Look forward all you want
Agree with everything except the part about lofton! He was the talk of the spring and summer sessions...now you think he doesn't fit Cristobal and Dawson's scheme?Moten isn't coming back so look for 2 DT's and 2 OL. Jackson will start on the OL. 10-12 tranfers look like the likely #'s moving forward for the portal and obviously it will very, give or take. Their will be surprises transferring out. Lofton and Pringle don't fit what Dawson and Mario run. I am guessing both transfer, I guess the same for O'Conner and Pruitt also because playing time as Juniors. Why even bring in a scat back?
Mario is cooking at this point.
3 DTs seems unrealistic. I assume Moten comes back, plus we'll still have Blount and Scott. Hopefully, Russell and Simpson can emerge. I see us taking a relatively big WR class for high school, so three seems like a lot with Trader, Moore, Upshaw and Toney all coming back. Interested to see what Carr and Robinson decide to doI assume:
- 1 QB
- 1 RB
- 3 WR
- 1 TE
- 1 OT
- 1 OC
- 2 DE
- 3 DT
- 2 LB
- 1 Nickel
- 2 S
Kinda the opposite of most ofThis thread came later than I expected tbh
