Herman "purportedly" had some other issues that led to his firing.

After finally reading Herman's extensive football background, it is crazy he was fired and, second, he would be a good hire, especially for someone like TVD.

I am sure he would be more than willing to leave the Chicago dumpster fire.
Sark sucking (for which it’s too early to truly tell) does not make Herman suddenly good.

HOWEVER, if you already thought that Herman was good and Texas was actually the problem (like me and others), then yeah I’d hire Herman here in a second.

Crap, I can only see the monkey and the ballerina. I know there is something else there and I can’t get my eyes to see it.

A sailboat is a scooner….
Look at it upside down.

Sark got the job cause he went to bama rehab. Bad choice to hire anyone from there based on what the receive on the recruiting trail. The only school who seemed to do their homework during the search was UGA.
No homework was needed. That was Kirby's job 2-3 years before CMR was let go. Everybody in GA knew that. Worst kept secret in this God forsaking state.

Ive been saying it’s way bigger than the coach there.
A-men
That school is cursed by all the money and boosters it has.
A Texas sized-problem for sure
It reminds me of Bama between the Stallings and Saban days. Both schools too toxic and too many cooks in the kitchen.
Very good comparison
Firing Herman was idiotic but that’s what they do.
No it wasn't. Twice-fired Sark was a predictable, lazy-*** hire. But Mensa Herman talked a helluva a lot better game than he coached or recruited. He may or may not go on to become a successful head coach somewhere else, but he was mediocre in his (almost) 4 seasons at UT.
Throw crap out the wall and if it doesn’t stick ASAP the boosters throw tantrums.
What fan base of any deep-pocketed program with a reasonable amount of past success doesn't do the same?

They got caught up in the Saban corch rehabilitation charade, combined with being the CFB embodiment of "mo money mo problems" from their incessant and out of touch boosters.

Texas reminds me a lot of Michigan. They are classified as an all time great program but I think their success is overinflated. They’ve never really had a sustained run of success in modern college football. Don’t get me wrong they have a good program but they look at themselves like they are Bama’s equal but they aren’t close to that.

They've been demonstrably worse than Michigan.

Miami is on a similar path. Not saying Diaz is the answer or should stay but if Miami chooses to move on the next hire has to count....
