LOL, OK here it is, todays presser from Manny Diaz...

Thats ******* good. When coaches like Richt allow people to half *** things that makes a soft *** attitude.

Everyone has problems with Diaz ripping on players but I don't get it.

What would butch say to these softies or ******* saban or jimmy johnson they would rip on the players and work em till they puke

I'm not really concerned with that because our defense showed up every Saturday under Richt mentally tough enough to keep us in games inspite of the ****ery on offense.

Manny has plenty of blame this season but after game 4 of year 1 anyone wetting themselves over this might as well take the next couple years off. Who knows how this turns out but essentially being mad at Manny for anything he does is asinine and shortsighted.

No one liked CMU but the juxtaposition between how the fanbase acted on these boards after Bethune and CMU is comical and infantile.

Yeah, I meant more long term about Manny, not short term. Many talks about "culture changes"....so did Richt especially, but it reverted pretty **** quick to the point of slacking off almost to a loss against an outclassed Central Michigan team. Even a BRAND SPANKING new Diaz led team with ANY veterans on it should have been able to avoid the **** poor performance that was last weekend...even if it was the first game of the year.

Whether Manny is a good Hc remains to be determined. But, you must admit that he says the things that we want to hear from a Miami HC and he has the look of a guy who really believes what he is saying. I personally would like to hear him say, "I spoke with Dan and Blake and was frank that this is not acceptable. There will be improvement or there will be change-soon."

I think we can all agree that the disease Manny is referring to, and obviously exists, has been cultivated over a number of years by the ineptitude of previous regimes. I believe he sees it, understands it needs to be fixed, and is making every effort to eradicate it.

Whether or not he and this staff can "fix it" is yet to be seen.
