I walked into a restaurant after church and had a Miami fleece jacket on. I didn't have the heart to check my phone about the playoffs. A young airmen looked at me and said "Miami is in". Oh snap. I gave him a high five and he was not even a Miami fan. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. GO CANES!!

Said too many times on this board that I thought we’d 1000000% be in if it was us vs ND for the last spot. You cannot have us 11 and them 10. That’s literally not sports.

But once Bama lost I was convinced they’d drop them to 10 to put this made up “buffer” and we were ****ed. I thought we were out last night. But when I saw Bama pop up at #9, I knew we were getting #10. This **** is all made up on the fly, and is all corrupt. But I said this all week. If there’s only one thing that cannot be refuted, it’s head to head.

First off, shoutout to Fran Brown for not only intentionally losing to BC but also purposely getting blown out by Notre Dame just to keep Miami out of the playoffs. Keep that energy, coach.

Secondly I told everyone here not to discount public opinion in regards to the committee. They heard the noise. They heard everyone on TV and the internet commenting about how head to head HAS TO MATTER. These at large picks are all about politics and our coach went out there and shook every hand and kissed every baby while telling the world that actually beating Notre Dame head to head MEANS SOMETHING.

Lastly, winning a natty without even needing to bother with winning an ACC title would be the most glorious accomplishment. Regardless of whatever happens in the playoffs I’m marking the 2025 season down as a success and a big W for the program. Enjoy the feeling brothers and sisters.

if there are fans saying "we will lose this game" then you can accuse them of a weak will.

but in REALITY- none of us are playing, none of us are voting on who makes it.

so in REALITY- none of us has a single @#$$ to do with any of this.

how can you be weak willed about SOMETHING YOU CANNOT CONTROL in the first place?!?

it's just guessing and using your intellect with the best information at hand.

I mean OSU won a natty with losing 2 games in the regular season and not making the Big Ten championship LAST YEAR.

in 2001 we played Nebraska who had just been DESTROYED in the Big 12 Championship game. and there were no championship games for the Big East.

I have never been more happy to go hand up in a thread. I fully believed we would get in up until Tuesday had us at #12. That’s where I lost hope.
