People talk about players getting better, but coaches, especially when they make the leap to HC, usually need some time too. Diaz has already shown he can do what needs to be done making staff changes, At least on the offensive side. He needs to get tougher with the players and maybe shake up the defensive staff with some upgrades. I do like that he can identify a problem and fix it. If they can just win the games they’re supposed to win for once, and play well in the bowl game, hopefully they can keep this class together. One thing that Manny does need to learn is how to talk players out of making stupid draft decisions. He needs to stop being so passive, for the players’ sake as much as the program. Most are leaving too soon.
